Finally, when visiting sunny Stoke, I got to sink my teeth into not only a delicious High Steaks sandwich with straight up Fries but a backdrop of friendly staff, quirky kick ass quotes, and fantastic layout and good tunes to boot.
I saw the Slamwich club in it's very first stages, a mere empty run-down space with the potential that has been not only reached but surpassed by the very talented owners. Keen attention to detail is evident throughout, from fun menus, great use of space and a DJ Booth to ease your into those evening drinks.
This place is great, the people are great, the food is fantastic, i only wish they delivered to Spain. Congratulations guys. x

We had the best family tea here tonight! Staff were amazing with my little kiddies and my four year old cleared her plate which is rare. Fully recommend for lovely food and a great atmosphere!

We went for lunch on Saturday and shared the ‘two timer’ between 3 of us. We’re real foodies and spend a lot of time on trip advisor sizing a place up before we go & after hearing such great things about this new local business we thought we’d give it a bash & we were so glad we did!
The quality and freshness of the food was the best we’ve had in a long time, that combined with the sheer quantity of food was such good value for money.
The staff were so friendly and polite & just seemed so much fun too, really kind and chatting to our 3 year old, showing her pictures on the wall & even letting her play with the slamwich cards on the table, whereas most places just ignore her!
This is the only eatery in Hanley for us now!
I'm still saving myself for the full Slamwhich experience however, after visiting with friends at the weekend I did manage to sample the Nachos, popcorn shrimp oh and the buttermilk chicken with honey sriracha sauce all of which were a taste sensation! Cocktails 🍹 on point too 😎
Wow what a fab day/night
Yesterday we had our best friends 40th bday party here.
It was perfect, nothing was too much trouble, the food, drinks and music were just us, you girls got it spot on.
Congratulation xxx

A sandwich like no other!
Fantastic and friendly service, delicious food and northern soul playing just when you think it can't get any better
Super chilled out vibe, but with attentive and very welcoming staff! So many great choices on the menu and it was big smiles all round in our party. Wham bam, thank you Sla'am-wich Club, can't wait to come back!
Had the Now you Caesar,Now you Don’t..EPIC
Can’t wait go again try something else...place has really good vibe and the staff of lovely.
Well impressed
A great place to visit for top-notch sandwiches in Hanley. The only issue is trying to get a table! Book in advance if you want to go for lunch when there is a more affordable menu on offer. Great funky vibe and helpful staff. The toilets are on the small side and located upstairs, so not so good for accessibility. However, the tasty food and good selection of soft drinks will make us repeat customers!
Beautiful, freshly cooked, and well seasoned food (portions are very filling IT'S NOT JUST A SANDWICH!) Very friendly staff! I would highly recommend to everyone 👌☺️
Tasty, large portions, jam packed full of great fillings. Staff were friendly but got orders wrong (missed items off our order and wrong drinks arrived).
I must admit, growing up I never once expected I would have such a burning passion for sandwiches, but visiting this restaurant exposed something deep within me I never knew I had. A love for a bloody good sandwich.
Let me be clear, this is not just a sandwich restaurant; The innovation and design of their dishes makes this local restaurant akin to a culinary Tate Modern. Indeed, their combination of ingredients mixed with an extensive option of sides presents wonders for the taste buds and could leave even the most metabolic of individuals feeling stomach-burstingly full.
The food is not their only greatest asset. Their staff and dedicated marketing team make sure you really feel like part of a club. A family. Their summer events are an absolute hit and accentuate their youthful nature to all of Stoke on Trent.
Last but not least, their toilets. In this day and age, I believe it is hard to impress a customer with a toilet, but theirs is gender-neutral, and comes packed with free consumables for everyone. We’re talking sanitary products, sun cream, deodorant and much more. You can tell this place is run by thoughtful people who really care about the community that come to visit.
There really is no better choice for a local restaurant
I tried to get a reservation here a few times, before being successful, so the first thing I'd suggest is to book well in advance, just in case.
It was worth the wait though. I've started to move away from the more "traditional" restaurants to this kind of place. I mean, can you imagine going to a "sandwich" restaurant just 10 years ago?
The Slamwich Club is known for its gourmet sandwiches, burgers, and loaded fries. In addition to their food, they also offer a range of craft beers, cocktails, and milkshakes to complement the menu.
The restaurant has a casual, laid-back atmosphere, with friendly staff.
I had Slammin’ house fries, and a Butter Me Up slamwich.
Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing, great service, the staff couldn't do enough for you and the food was incredible! The tater tots.....well worth the trip alone!
Amazing food, great prices and excellent service. It has become one of my favourite restaurants in the city.

Food was good! Would recommend booking as only a small place and can imagine it gets quite busy. Thought it was a little bit pricey (£40 for two sandwiches, two drinks and chips) but we were happy to pay this as the food was tasty! Service was good, great little independent business.
Wanted to go for ages and well worth the wait. I had the "I got Seoul" and it was delicious. For how big the sandwiches (or should I say slamwiches) are we had 1 sharing portion of chips between us. Definitely worth booking because even at 2:40pm on a Saturday it was busy.
I went a little while ago and it was amazing! I had the you've got soel and it was delish 😋 also had the milkshake of the week which was yummy (drank it all before my food arrived). Bit pricey £17 for it but definitely worth as a treat from time to time
First of all whoever replies to the reviews on here is a legend, had a look through the 1-star reviews and they made my day.
I am not normally a sandwich person and at first I was a bit worried about the prices, but me and my girlfriend have been here several times and it's become a tradition. Food is consistently amazing and staff are very lovely and accommodating. Cannot recommend enough.
First time I've been here and I loved it. The food was lovely, generous portion sizes and the staff were lovely. Also thought the price was very reasonable. Would definitely go again.
Sooooo good 😋 originally was going to go somewhere else but very glad we ate at Slamwich, they managed to squeeze us in which I was very grateful for.
The menu is very festive at the minute so that's a little bonus if you like Christmas food :)
I ordered the sandwich with pepperoni and chicken and it was a lil spicy but so tasty at the same time.
My family ordered a sandwich between them, (the one with chicken strips) because of how big they are and shared a couple of sides of pigs in blankets, served with a lovely gravy, and topped fries which had a nice oniony flavour to them.
I also had a side of brie nuggets and DAMN were they delicious, wish I got a picture of the melty cheese really.
And finally I decided to order a milkshake and it was absolutely massive, lots of cream and full of chocolatey flavour 👌
Definitely recommend
I've visited quite a few times and I've never been dissapointed! Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well as overall delicious well priced food and drinks.
The food was phenomenal. The portions are very generous and presented beautifully. The only problem at Slamwich is choosing what to have off the menu as every sarnie looks and sounds amazing. Service was brilliant - welcoming and friendly but not overbearing which makes it proper chilled. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Fantastic place to eat, the service from the staff was excellent warm and friendly. We didnt wait to long for our food to be served and the waitresses kept us updated on our order. The food was absolutely AMAZING!! Portion sizes were massive excellent value for money! Well definitely return
Really good food, great service team, brilliant choice of sides and drinks. One small improvement would be booth size, it can get cramped for larger groups, we squeezed 7 into one booth and it was a bit too cosy. Shouldn't detract from everything else which was really great.
Interesting sandwich combinations but always accommodating for you personal preference tweaks!
It’s worth stopping by but would definitely book a table in advance.
There’s a large pay and display car park very close by - takes coins only.
We’ll be visiting again soon!
We've been here a few times now and its always great! Tasty food and lots of it! Service was quick and attentive. Good music and friendly feel to the place
