First time back here since it's been renovated and it's beautiful! Very stylish looking but still that 'homey' feel. Staff lovely, friendly and attentive - though not over bearing 🙌 I chose the hunters chicken with an extra side salad and my daughter had the child version of the hunters. Both of us found it very tasty and filling though we did wait for around 40 minutes for it to initially be served. We were happily chatting away so it didn't really feel that long. Only things I would mention is all salt shakers we tried were blocked - I ended up taking the lid off one and pouring some in my hand to sprinkle on our food that way. And slightly disappointed at the side salad, it was stated on the menu as a 'dressed salad' however they wasn't actually any dressing on it.
All in all, an enjoyable visit and would go back again :)

Food is always great and the drinks are good value! Especially the offers for the shots and the cocktails.
I had a brilliant time, staff where really kind and welcoming, the food was fast and tasty. Steak was cooked as I wanted it. I will be coming again, The person who served me was called Lauren and she was quick with my order, really friendly and helpful.
Food was great - my 7 and 8yr old children said it was the best meal they have tasted.
Service was done with a smile and very professional
Food came in good time and nothing was ever too difficult.

Food was great, cant fault the pub really, its come along way over the past couple of years, it did have a run of poor service and lack of menu options a few years ago, but now comfortably meets expectations
We've been coming here a lot recently as our kitchen is currently out of action. The food is always really nice, good selection of meals and very reasonably priced - even better with my BLC! Becky and the team are super welcoming 💙 I'd highly recommend this pub for a cheap, but tasty meal.
First time visiting as I happened to be in the area and took a chance I'd get a table on a busy Saturday night. The lovely staff couldn't have been more welcoming, the food was delicious and the desserts are stunning. Thank you Kate, Erin and Marlee and the rest of the team for such a lovely evening. I will definitely return.
Lovely place! Becky was our waitress, even though she seemed super busy she still took the time to make sure all our needs were met and have a quick chat with us! Super friendly! The place is decked out really nicely!
We had a meal here to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. All 4 of us ate every mouthful, it was delicious! Two of us are vegetarians and there were several dishes to choose from, we had the lasagne which we recommend, together with a side order of chips and garlic bread!. Served to us with a smile Very good value food, a budget pub but the quality is as good if not better than other pubs charging more.
The desserts were lovely too.
We will definitely be returning.

Always guaranteed to be served with a smile if the lovely Lucy is on shift. Such a great asset to the business and is always warm and friendly. We are regulars, popping in just for a pint to sit in the beer garden but always treated as if we were spending more.
We popped in here for dinner with friends last week. The car park was full but there is onstreet parking nearby, although that probably annoys the locals!
The menu had a lot of options and it was interesting to see the calorie count, amazing how easy it is to eat 2000 calories inone meal! Service was friendly and efficient and the portion sizes were decent. The food was nothing special but it was presented well, good value and filling.
Myself and my family have been using the Blue bowl in Hanham regularly for about a year now which speaks volumes, the staff are always very friendly and hard working, the standard of food is very good especially for the price we pay. We always look forward to our night out there and have no intentions of changing anytime soon. Keep up the good work.
