Michelle and the staff provided an excellent night for all the Marie Curie Volunteers from the Handforth shop,great food,great prices,very accomdating to there needs,there was a group of 16 and all yes all loved it,with the opportunity after to chill and relax with music from the DJ.
Food is great. Great value on food and drinks. Staff are friendly. Always take the mrs and the kids here and we always have a good time. Definately would recommend it to anyone.
Went into this pub, only too use the wacky warehouse. Lovely lady behind the counter. Clean place. Would definitely go back again
Normally in the past the service has been really slow that it's taken an hour for my food to arrive. But this time the service was so quick and the staff were so helpful and lovely. Was put off early this year but after yesterday I'd be happy to come back again. Thank you staff keep up the great work and nice food �.

Everything was cooked to perfection on the carvery, staff were friendly and professional and the decor looked amazing. Will definitely be visiting again.

Visited with my daughter-in-law, young Son (aged 5) and grand daughters (aged 2 and 6 mths)
Unfortunately the day we visited the only food option was carvery which was a massive disappointment to my 5yr old who had his heart set on pizza haha.
The rest of our party fully enjoyed the carvery
All in all it cost about £45 to feed us with drinks.
The staff were all lovely and helpful and it wasn't busy when we visited. We were seated straight away.
Car parking was free/validated.
We even managed an hour in the childrens indoor soft play area set off at the back of the gardens at a cost of £5 per child
The soft play area was ok
Good separation of bar and dining which is very noticeable if you visit at any busy time.
Food was good.
Staff were great.
Atmosphere was good.
Place was clean.
Items were cheap compared to surrounding venders.
This is a lovely pub house with some outdoor tables. It’s so leisure to sit between the green building and a grassland. The fish and chip is perfect and the fried onion is crispy enough. I really enjoyed the chocolate sundae too.
They didn't realise we had a table reserved so they put the food off but put it back on just for us. The food was amazing and a lot better than I thought the quality and portions were good and the staff were very understanding and lovely. And we also watched the football and city won the champions league which was also a bonus they have plenty of places to watch it including outside and on a projector and TVs etc. Well done to the staff!
This place has a lovely carvery the young man serving the carvery was very polite very happy . Service with a smile. You can choose different flavours to add to your draught fizzy drinks .There is kids play outside for free and an inside play which is £5 for 90 minutes the kids loved it, would return again in the future oh and there is plenty of parking
Ordering from the app is still hit or miss most of the time. Everything we got was ordered through the app and it came straight away after ordering apart from pudding.
We waited nearly 40 minutes for ice cream and then saw all of the kitchen staff leaving and one of the other staff members had to make them for us instead.
I would say this isn't exactly the staffs fault and more down to the app most likely.
The food was quite nice and the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce is definitely go to for sauce.
The starters we got were all nice. We had chicken strips, halloumi, and the new battered sausage with bacon wrapped around it.
When where flying from Manchester Airport we always stay at Best Western Pinewood Hotel & this place is about 10mins walk down the road. Its an excellent place to get really nice food, they have an extensive menu plus there's always the carvery to choose from, the staff are always very friendly everytime we have been in & have a very large outdoor play area for children

Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to a table told either order at the bar or through the Greeneking app!
Ordered through the app! Drinks arrived quicky and as ordered

Been. A few times here. Service is pretty quick. Carvery was lovely both times I've been. Pub has a few leasure activities with a green bowling field and a wacky warehouse for the kids. Lots of outdoor space.
Great pub, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgable about their products, Landlord and Landlady are lovely. Food was beautiful. Would deffo recommend

Very Happy. Excellent service.
My son and his carer come here. We are relatively new customers and I’m so happy with the food and service, that I will be making sure my son comes here for his healthy hearty lunch to carry him through his busy afternoon of play.
Lisa has been especially nice and welcoming. She is extremely patient on the phone and really helpful answering any questions even though you can hear how busy it is in the background she has been very nice and explaining things and not in a rushed or impatient way as to get you off the phone. So thank you for this Lisa it makes the world of difference to know that your needs are cared for.
My son has additional and complex needs and this place has very good experience with young people and adults whom I believe return there on a regular basis and I believe they always try to cater for this as far as trying to make sure that you have your same seating each week. Although I do understand that ...if you don’t book ...this might not always be possible as other people will be dining too.
I have been sent photos of my son tucking into his hearty food with beautiful looking vegetables and even down to the sauce included dishes have been served on a separate dish! This is 5*****s for me because to know how important this can be to somebody with additional needs means so much to my heart to know how important that is and to put this into place just means the world to me that our children’s and adults needs are really taken care of and that they understand and more to the point “care” So huge thank you for this everyone xx
There is also a slush machine that works very well as a “special surprise/treat/reward” or bribe lol for good behaviour 😉
We will be a regular from now even though we live miles away, you can’t beat the service and friendliness and good food that you get here 😁
