Giovanni's was a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend starting with the mussels, which were some of the largest I've ever seen and came in a delicious creamy sauce. Dipping the toasted garlic bread into the remaining sauce was a treat.
The fish and chips were a mixed bag - the fish was fantastic, with a crispy batter and flaky texture, while the mushy peas, tartar sauce, and mayonnaise were also great. However, the chips could have been crispier and more seasoned.
The draft beer was expensive but tasty, and the cocktails and desserts were fantastic as well.
The only drawback was the restaurant's modern open-plan design, which made it difficult to hold a conversation when it was busy due to limited noise dampening. Despite this, Giovanni's offers a five-star experience.
Great atmosphere with great food. Not too expensive and is extremely modern and decorated nicely inside. One of the staff who was serving us, was super kind and informative about the food.

Sad it was so quiet, hope word gets around. Best Italian meal we have had in a long time. Brucetta a must!
We have been to Giovanni’s on a few occasions over the last year and can honestly say that each time we have had a lovely meal complimented by great, friendly service. Nothing is a bother, even the extra parmesan cheese we always request! Food is always fresh and tasty, atmosphere is relaxed and drinks menu looks great too! Couldn’t recommend Giovannis enough 💯
Table of 8 for my husbands birthday, food & service was top class. The food was delicious, I would personally recommend the roast of the day. Our server Rebecca was very attentive, polite and happy to rearrange any changes we wanted, definitely be back.
Enjoyed our meal,staff are friendly, lovely atmosphere we were seated behind the partition a table for 2, which was great very intimate and relaxing.then sat in the bar and had cocktails which were amazing thank you Michael &Connor
Service was fantastic, Rebecca and Morgan were very friendly, it was a shame the menu had changed, my husband had the burger last time we visited and it wasn’t on the new menu. My husband isn’t keen on pasta but I love it. So not sure we will rush back with this menu. Honestly can’t fault the food though, just a shame menu has changed.

Was at your restaurant the last 2 Sundays with the family. Service was good and the food was delicious. Rebecca the waitress explained about the specials and the desserts and was very helpful. Will definately be back

Nice atmosphere, had to give 4 stars as we’ve been served by 4 or 5 waiting staff in total and at least 2 of them had no idea what they were doing. Food was good however it came extremely fast (less than 10 mins), which makes me wonder if the pasta was pre-boiled
Been there's couple of times now. The food is good, the staff are great, they were able to squeeze us in after another local restaurant let us down. Mix of families, couples and groups.
We got a 3 course, bottle of wine and a beer for around £100 for two, before tip.

Had a lovely lunch in here yesterday. Such nice decor and the food was amazing. What made it even better was the lady serving us was just lovely. So helpful and a lovely addition to an already lovely place. Highly recommend x
Visited for the first time this evening and had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the table service first class. The food was delicious and beautifully presented beautiful and the portion sizes were more than generous. We will certainly return and will tell all our friends about this gem.

Was there tonight for a catch up with my old work mates. The place is so beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. It's not too overcrowded with seats. The service was amazing. We could not thank our server Beth enough. She was on the ball the full night, foreseeing anything we may need and being really friendly. She is a credit to your establishment. The food was well presented and very flavourful. 10/10 would recommend
