First time trying salt, definitely won't be our last! Beautiful food, well presented and served by lovely waiting staff. What a place!
First time here. Food was excellent although each dish just arrives when it's ready. Still, very enjoyable.
Will definitely come back! Service was very good they are all very friendly. Food-wise I would go here for the sushi as it's delicious even for someone that doesn't love sushi that much. Other plates I tried they were okay but nothing special, they used some kind of bag salad that was dry that I would've prefered to be out of the plate, but the sushi however is great!
A great place for sushi and Japanese street food! Decor inside has an industrial feel with beautiful fake cherry blossom trees. I was disappointed that two of the items I wanted to try were unavailable, it was a Sunday afternoon and quite busy. Will happily go back and try again! They also offer take away!
There's parking on the street outside which you have to pay for up until 6pm monday-saturday... I think we paid £1.80 for 2 hours via Ringo.

Loveeed the food here! It was so quick and the staff were all lovely. Great portion sizes and extremely tasty!!! Especially loved the pumpkin korroke bao bun absolutely delicious
We were greeted at the door by a charming and enthusiastic host. A high level of service continued throughout our entire visit.
The restaurant has a wonderful selection of asian dishes, street food and wonderful sushi. The food was high quality, well-priced and taste amazing. It was also prepared very quickly and presented beautifully. We weren’t able to finish all of our delicious food, but it was packaged nicely for us to take away.
The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful decor and chill music in the background.
It was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to seasoned sushi lovers, fans of asian street food, or people looking for something new to try. I will definitely be visiting again!

Food was delicious (if a bit fiddly to eat!).
Service was great with very friendly staff. Table had to be given back after 1hr 45, we sat at the bar to finish out drinks but no one was seated at our table in the 30 minutes we remained there for plus there were a few empty tables around us....hence the knocking off of a star! Confused as to why the upheaval for no real reason?
We visited at 6pm Sunday evening, I would advise booking in advance as the place was incredibly busy. Although we didn't wait long before being seated. Great atmosphere and decor to really build the mood, food is reasonably priced and the waiting staff were lovely and attentive. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic restaurant. Lovely food and so much choice including great vegetarian options, can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Staff were friendly and food came fast and was delicious.
Food was phenomenal but the star of the show was our server, Alex. She made our experience personal, enjoyable and she was so professional. All 6 of us felt that she really took customer service seriously and she was honestly so sweet and happy 😊 - really made it a 5 star experience
I visited here for a walk in Dinner and we were lucky to get a table, atmosphere and decor is really nice, service was really good and food was amazing.
We had a small katsu chicken curry, with dirty fries.
The only constructive feedback I could give is if there were more pictures and easier descriptions on the menu as I like to try something new but I wasn't sure of what I was ordering hence why I played it safe ordering something I know.
But, I must say the dirty fries have got to be the best tasting fries in the area.

Had lunch on a busy Friday. We hadn't booked but we were lucky to get a table. The restaurant is beautiful inside. There were plenty of staff. The food was excellent best Ramen I've ever had. We shared gyozas and dirty fries (exceptionally spicy!!). We enjoyed seafood ramen and Korean chicken ramen. The Portion sizes are very generous. Can't wait to return. Booking is essential
Our first time visiting SALT and we weren't disappointed! The food was delicious, gorgeous layout inside, the staff were friendly and welcoming plus a good atmosphere. No complaints!
Lunch today for 4...absolutely loved every bite! Staff wonderful, beautiful surroundings....Will definitely be back. Only problem what to choose from the menu lol! Wine so good we had a second bottle! Lorna

We stopped in Hamilton on the way home from Falkirk to grab supplies while heading to Yorkshire. We are glad we found SALT as there was little else in the town we found of note. The decoration inside is great, chefs making sushi in the seating area, a nice big bar and very modern tables chairs and lights. Parking outside wasn't too bad, we found space on the street for a couple of pounds for 2 hrs. Waitress was really pleasent and friendly. Service was a little slow to get drinks but the place was full at 12.30 on a Wednesday which reflects the quality. We ordered 2 ramen bowls and a selection of sushi. Everything tasted great and was not overpriced considering the quality. One issue was the food took a while to arrive, however a man from the back came out explaining he made the ramen with the wrong noodles and had to restart, apologizing for the delay. As they were so honest about it I would not rate down for this mistake as they took ownership. Doubt I'll be in the area again but we would go back if we were.
