We moved away 8 years ago and always had Mushtaqs before we moved. We live somewhere with multi award winning curry restaurants but every time we ordered I have dreamed of having Mushtaqs again. Well today is that day and let me tell you, it was worth the wait..the food is EVERY bit as amazing as i remember it being. Buffet starter was superb and my lamb garlic chilli is just brilliant. The portion size would do for 2 meals they are so generous.
One mouthful and i was back to the day we first tried it. Absolutely love Mushtaqs food and so sad we dont live in the area now. I would recommend food from Mushtaqs over ANY curry ive had in the past- and that includes all the world famous restaurants in Glasgow.

Ok so a while later and I have saw some negative reviews and tbh they are justified
I think food is still the best , but the service ? Nope , two weeks in a row now my meal has leaked all over my car seats !! Is is cause they decided to use cheap bags ? No more Mushtaqs bags I’m not sure , but yiu can see this is cost cutting but takes away everything they used to be about , I post positive when positive so only right I air my views if negativity because I spend a lot of hard earned mone in Mushtaqs , I think the boss is really clever and a great chef but has really made a mistake with the small things that people expect from him , still great food just my opinion and I know he probably won’t like it

Lovely meal tonight - super tasty. My wife suffers from a lot of allergies but because of the quality of the ingredients we can always enjoy a fantastic meal - 5 stars every time. Note the kitchen left off one our dishes and Mr Mushraq himself zoomed up straight away and brought some freebies. Incredible service 😄😄😄😄😄

Amazing curries that you won't find anywhere else. We mostly use for takeaway, however anytime I eat in the restaurant it is also fantastic. One small criticism would be that there is no choice of starters with the buffet, instead a platter is put on the table which often results in waste as you are being served items that you may not necessarily want. As far as takeaway goes, the food always tastes amazing. Portion sizes seem to vary however. I have used Mustaqs since the revamped restaurant opened and have only had one bad experience. I called for takeaway and was told delivery would be in 30 minutes, 1 hour later and no food! Having called back I was told the printer in the kitchen for orders was playing up. Our food arrived 20 minutes later meaning a total wait of 1 hour 20 minutes and two starving kids screaming in my ear. No apology from the restaurant and not so much as a cheeky portion of pakora thrown into the order by way of saying sorry. The little touches matter, hence only 4 stars.
By far the best, most authentic Indian food in the area! The ingredients are fresh and the food is excellent. They have a very small menu which I always this is a good sign that the food is prepared fresh.
By far the best Indian in Hamilton and worth every penny. Even the buffet is delicious and fresh tasting and is miles ahead of any buffet you would get anywhere else. Great choice of food and all authentically, freshly flavoured. You'll never get overdyed horrible spiced onions, or curries filled with MSG and additives to give them flavour. Food is far superior to other options available in the area.
Had a meal tonight with my family in this restaurant. The meal was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely be returning to this restaurants again. Highly recommend people to try it. You won't be disappointed.

Hadnot been in a while and after hearing some mixed reviews i thought i would give it a try.
Chicken Chat. Lamb Bhuna and Garlic Chilli Chicken fried rice.
Made order by telephone. Effiecient and freindly staff informed me of offers of second main free and was helpful when i asked her for a recomendation.

Chicken chat was not prepared as expected. Ie not as i have had before but very tender and tasty.
The lamb Bhuna was exceptional. And if im honest one of the best ive tasted in a long time. The a Garlic Chill Chicken was great as well. Good portion sizes and tasted quality tender meatin both dishes.
A little over priced compared to competitors but over all i would say decent value.
In the past i have attended the restraunt for buffet option and wasnt impressed. You hqve howver won me over on this occasion.

Best Indian in Hamilton doesn’t go like jelly the sauce I mean in the curry 🍛 as made with all there own ingredients note jst mashed up sauce as u get out others . Wouldn’t go anywhere else now even when closed on a Monday & Tuesday I’d rather wait as disgusting out any other Indians now as been going there & getting deliveries for 2/3 years now delicious 😋 & the staff r amazing 😉 & actually listen 👂 & always get my order correct . They dnt send the wrong stuff either, it’s delicious 🤤 lol , 5 stars 🌟 frm us 💝
