Centre Of Britain Hotel - Haltwhistle - Photo album

Great hotel in the main street of Haltwhistle. Huge, comfortable room with large bathroom and a most welcome bath (after a hard day walking). TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Staff could not have been nicer. Hubby and I opted for an evening meal on our first night and we had a dining room ju
This is such a fab hotel. A bit like stepping back in time, great service, good food, clean & comfy rooms. Very dog friendly..& only just a little way from Hadrian's Wall. Well recommended
Stayed in the Centre of Britain hotel for a work trip and it couldn’t have been nicer, the room was large, very clean and cosy. All of the staff were so lovely and kind, nothing was too much. Christine is a gem and a credit to the hotel, she will do anything to make her guests feel welcome and looke
Stayed here for one night while exploring Hadrian's Wall. This place has the best British hospitality. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean and cozy.
Stayed here for 4 nights whilst we radiated out to walk Hadrian's Wall. Absolutely fantastic establishment and staff were exceptional and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I recently spent two nights at the Center of Britain during our hike of the Hadrian's Wall Path. It's a simple place, but met our needs very well. The staff were excellent, the food was good, and the rooms were comfortable. Highly recommended.
The Centre of Britain is located mid town with local shops nearby. It has a variety of meals in the evening. At the back of the hotel is private parking. When we arrived the receptionist James was very friendly and welcoming. The food was very nice. The rooms are clean and spacey, we had one that w
Great location, we had the lodges at the rear which were superb, food lovely. Definitely recommended.
Magnificent giant room, with dining table, three piece suite and two children's beds in addition to the king bed for us. Nice view of the town from the window and the breakfast vegan and vegetarian cooked perfectly. After a long winter walk up on the moors, with a windchill of -3°c the jacuzzi steam
Stayed for 1 night in room 8. Hooks at back of bathroom door lose and do not hold towels up to dry. The large hook for coats at the back of the main door was on the floor when we arrived this needs putting into the wall with better fixings. Room was very clean. Bed super comfy and we both slept well
