The Bull Hotel Pub - Halstead - Photo album

Driving hungry through Halstead with the wife today and saw a pub. Called in, got seated and ordered food. Food was amazing and staff were too. Had to go find someone when we wanted to pay, apart from that we were very impressed. Highly recommend this place. Next time we are in the area we will call
Lovely little old pud . Great features. Reasonably priced. Food and drink. Rooms a little dated but clean Our room did back on to lidl car park but didn't affect us in any way . Even though it was there loading bay All good đź‘Ť Loved the fact that they had a separate gluten free menu veggie
Beautiful character building. Food and service prompt and efficient. Unfortunately the seating can only be described as terrible. Stained cloth all ragged and filthy really wonder how many people over the years have left a deposit, such furniture should have been taken to the local tip. We moved to
Beautiful old pub with lovely rooms above to stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Had a meal and a few drinks in the evening which was nice. Cooked breakfast in the morning which was lovely. Parking at the rear but if full, there's a carpark 2 minutes walk away.
We had a family lunch today at The bull hotel in Halstead, food was delicious!! Service with a smile from all the staff, would highly recommend, thank you all from The magnificent seven
Great service and lovely food. Claire, the waitress was excellent! Running around everywhere with a smile on her face. Thank you very much
Stayed overnight Tuesday 27th June 2023. This is a lovely, very old building, so beware of wonky, uneven floors, which add to the charm! Comfortable, clean room, with old-fashioned windows that open! All was well until bolted awake by the fire-alarm mysteriously going off around 1am! Prior, enjoyed
Good beer. Decent old school rooms. Food is a lottery... had nice breakfast and tasty meal one day and olmost inedible chicken burger next day.
Quite the experience booked in and the age of the building showed through everything, low beams and floors that make you feel drunk then drinks that do make you drunk! A bit further out of the way than I thought when booking but nice relaxing stay
The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Had a great breakfast.
This is a lovely really old building, so the rooms are a little quirky, which all adds to the charm. We stayed here for three nights, and the staff are so friendly, and go out of their way to make your stay as good as they can. The food is top class, and a good selection of beers are available. Very
The place could do with a good refurbishment very tired and dirty looking. Most staff are very friendly and helpful a couple not so much. Meals are much better than they used to be. Catering a Buffet is another story. Poor quality food and dry sandwiches. Wouldn't recommend the Buffet.
This pubs members have very friendly and welcoming approach. Very good vegan choice so we didn’t have problem eating here. Nice food and the room we stayed in was comfortable enough. Just be careful the wall paint catches on clothes if you touch it. Though the breakfast which comes with room is a jo
Lovely garden seating for our post walk drink. The establishment is very atmospheric and the flowers being planted outside gave the place an inviting vibe.
