This has improved no end since the refurb. Really nice food (Sunday roast) and good service.
Prices are reasonable and a good selection of beers and ales.
The atmosphere was still flat. To be fair there was a football game on and this impacts the seating options as most are under the TV.

Dropped in for lunch one Tuesday afternoon. Nice cold shandy and a superb chicken burger and chips to die for.

This pub is under new ownership the food is fabulous, it is nicely decorated and refurbished . The staff and management are friendly and helpful. Myself and my wife had lovely meals here today.

It has been refitted and reopened, nice comfy decor, drinks reasonably priced, parking, iced water avaliable, chilled vibe. We have been going after work on a Friday. Plenty of places to sit, no feelings of being rushed
OMG the Sunday lunch we had was AMAZING just like a home cooked roast, and plenty of it too.The young girl serving was so polite too, and could'nt do enough for us..Everyone must try, its delicious.
