We Decided To Visit From Sheffield After Looking For Somewhere To Go On Soul Source. Not The Venue We Aimed For But Found Out About It In The Local Pub We Started Off At (LONG Story). This is one of the oldest buildings in Halifax town centre and has some fabulous oak panelling particularly in the upstairs oak room.
Nice little boozer, nice staff, lovely seated accommodation outside. Plenty of space. Nice flooring. Shame about the music, Not my cup of tea. I prefer house music to rock music anytime, can tolerate Soft rock like Kaisers and Shed 7. But hard Rock no. Need to change that. I know people will like that but not for me tar. Stick me behind some decks and I'll show you what music is all about.

Just been 'done out' when I last went. Looks good. Good choice of drinks and not expensive. Has a pool table if you fancy a knock about. In the summer there's always lots of table outside for a pit stop while you shop :)
Love this bar, ways a great choice of music and the feature for the young uns of a double toilet cubicle for those sharers is just genius! Sorry the only photo I took was the bog! Clean and hygienic though π€£ nice firendly staff and fairly priced.

Just had a surprise 50th birthday party .
The venue was perfect was left to dress it up to my liking , had photos running through 2 of the screens ,Leanne the manager was superb , very accomodating to all our needs , making sure we wasn't without anything. Drinks great prices , plenty of space in and out. The staff were extremely patient considering the amount of requests for different music. Everyone loved the atmosphere... Leanne was a real diamond to deal with. Polite well mannered. Nothing too much trouble. We will be back for defo. Thanks all for making a surprise birthday to remember π xx

A long time ago, this pub was one of the best in Halifax, a 'Bernie Inn' if memory serves, now, it's a town centre pub!! Not impressed, but hey, if you like raucous music, pool table, fizzy lager..go for it !!
Good pub clean, lots of space inside and out , house brands and a good variety of branded drinks, very good bar staff television in all rooms overall pleasant place to visit.....Still as good ever .This weekend had an outdoor entertainment the drinks were more expensive but lots of people still there
