What an absolutely amazing food! We came for afternoon tea for my nans birthday and it was beautiful large afternoon tea both savoury and sweet with prosecco. Danielle (manager/waitress) was very helpful and lovely to talk too. I cant recommend this place enough best place Ive had afternoon tea (even better than Betty's).
The fillet steak was to die for, as was the pepper sauce.
They were amenable too, swopping stuff for me.
The barman/waiter was on his own, but certainly knew what he was doing and served us well.
It looks like it has recently been through a refurb and is really nicely decorated.
I want the feather paper!
We would definitely return and well worth the three trains from Stockport.

Stayed over night the Staff were very professional and polite , couldn't do enough for us . Had breakfast and dinner food was first class and was presented to an high standard ... Thank you to all the staff .. We will defiantly stsy again
First time I'd been out in years on new year's eve but luckily won 2 tickets so I took my mum with me amazing place friendly staff and would definitely recommend to family and friends hopefully be there again next year for new years with plenty family and friends thank you again for a brilliant night x
lots to say about this great place, had a lovely warm reception when we first arrived and all the staff were lovely. The food was great as was the music, would 100% come here again x

Stayed here a few times visiting my brother and the hospitality is great, food also great! Rooms normal lovely and warm and cosy, clean.. One time enetratinment was on int he pub and it was like an old fashioned house party, great laugh. Well worth stopping at..
Fillet steak was perfect and nicest peppercorn sauce I’ve had in a very long time x kids loved playing on the hotel field.
I was there for my friends wedding and we all loved the hotel and it's staff. Excellent service was given at all times and attention to detail was a key factor here. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were so nice.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to my good friends special day and helped make it extra incredible. I'll definitely go back and have no hesitation going back in the future.
