A lovely set of ladies that run this shop! I come in on Thursdays and it’s a delight every time. You should give these ladies a pat on the back , excellent service , excellent food , excellent staff.

It is quite a small shop so it’s difficult to see what is in the hot counter until you’re right at the front of the queue. Under pressure I couldn’t see my favourite so instead I got a chilli beef slice along with a sausage, cheese & beans for hubby and t couple of sausage rolls for our son. Not had

Bought egg mayo on brown bread and a kids £1 meal consisting of 1/2 sausage roll,gingerbread man and blackcurrant drink all for £2! ...had to go sit in Halifax borough market to eat as weather so bad.

Pasties, sandwiches, bread, cakes etc... at much lower prices than Gregg's. Two pasties for a pound etc... Taste as good, if not better than Gregg's. Friendly staff. Wheelchair accessible entrance and easy to get round.

Great shop..clean and tidy...polite staff when I visit seems a popular shop to be fair who doesn't love a pound bakery lot cheaper then other bakery shops great sandwiches and pasties

Good food with great value for money. I mean what else would you ask for if you pay a few pounds for baked goodies?

Great value, can’t complain about anything at that price. Staff always seem friendly and the pastries are decent considering the price.

I went to pound bakery with my dad and we had the choice of hot pies and pasties two for a pound hot, the service and assistance was good; for a pound it's a deal

Always a bargain price for decent food

Vanilla slices. Two for a pound. Bargain. Carrot cake , two for a pound. And strawberry cream tarts, guess what? Yup, you got it, two, for a pound!!!!
