Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves wine and a cheese board. Greeted with a warm welcome, service was excellent and the meat and cheese selection was amazing. The wine was top class and great value for money. Will definitely be returning again very soon.

On our way back to our hotel, after an evening meal, we wanted to find somewhere to get a nice drink and stumbled upon Evokesomm. From the bar I ordered a pint for me and a glass of wine for the wife. Then we saw the self-serve specialist wine machine, stuck some credit on the card we were given and off we went. We returned next day for some of the best tapas we've had and were more self controlled on the wine machine, tasting several wines in small measures. And every member of staff from the bar to the kitchen were just bloody lovely. Definitely an experience we'd recommend and repeat. In fact we're taking some friends there as soon as is convenient.
Fabulous bar, owners and staff are all amazing, the tapas are fantastic, and the self serve wine machines are unbelievable, definitely the place to go in halifax!
Good selection of wines and spirits. The Tapas menu looks good too. Will have to come back when my tummy isn't full. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, under the Arcade roof, why did t someone think of it before?
Went on Valentine's Night 2018 , was treated to superb tapas style food ..and plenty for both of us, lovely prosecco and a cheeky limoncello to finish...I can thoroughly recommend it ..I go almost every week for open Mic night as well :)
Awesome new wine bar. Lovely atmosphere, great wines and lovely food to go with it. This is definately the place to be. Thank you to you guys making me feel so warm and welcome and helping us decide on our wines for the night��

Called in for one. Ended up staying. It was Manchester weekend cos of the unspeakable that happened. All my favourite bands and my favourite beer- Withins. Brilliant bar, excellent staff.
Lovely friendly inviting atmosphere!! Will be visiting again. Everybody enjoyed themselves. We've been waiting for a top end wine bar in Halifax and now we have one!!
