Really decent little pub (actually it's quite big) good menu well priced tasty food we went for the tapas excellent.
Reegan served us and made sure that we were happy with our meals.
Popped in here for food and drinks before heading to the theatre to see Tim Vine.
Got in here just at the right time. It was happy hour. Got 1 X pint of Stella and 1 X bottle of fruity cider for just £6 Amazing.
We also had food which was 2 meals for £10.50 again Amazing.
We were staying in Halifax for 3 nights and this was without doubt the bargain of our stay. If I return to Halifax I am sure to pop in again. Amazing.

Came here with some mates for a meal and a couple drinks, it is a very nice place to eat/drink. We were served by Liv who was great and had a smile on her face the whole time which is lovely to see, would definitely recommend

Came in with my mum for breakfast. We order two small breakfast they was nice and warm. Nicole was very helpful with us because we couldn’t find the table number and she help us with that.
Dined in with my family plenty of times here, always amazing food, yes sometimes the wait is longer than other places, however the food is always fresh and the best ive had in halifax.

We come here a lot for breakfast and it's always amazing! I'm vegetarian and my partner is not. They have got a new menu recently and so far it's a lot more choice and new menus are easier to read. My only upsetting thing is the past two times I've been they haven't had the fruit for French Toast 😭 it's one of my favourite breakfast meals. Nicole brought our food over to us and was lovely and smiley and checked that everything was OK for us. Would definitely recommend.
Cheap and cheerful and not bad food. Shame there's no outside seating but that's the only let down really.

The food was aesthetically pleasing and was lovely made by Jay. The service from Liv and Nic was excellent and outstanding. They are a good asset to your team. Will definitely return!
Visited the Duke of wellington on wednesday for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. Upon arrival we were greeted and told where we could find the menus if we decided to eat which we did and decided to have the tapas. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and glad we had what we did nothing seemed like too much trouble for the staff. Needless to say we will definitely be back next time we are in that are.
