I must say this is such an amazing venue! I love the atmosphere you get when you go around 4pm-5pm. Countless times I’ve been and it’s always amazing!
Yanno just like anyone can have a bad day, well I’ve had only one little disturbance but that was handled very nicely by the manager! It’s nowt to worry about. It’s not something that is gonna stop me going back! Love this place 🫶
I haven’t tried the food yet, but just absolutely amazing smells and sights seeing all that lovely fresh food getting brought to people was tempting me… I’m gonna cave in next time I go up 💓!
If you’re a nightlife girl like me and like a lil party, well after you’ve been here, I really suggest heading across the road 😉 (Only if your wanting a party)
But yeah most places people say “oh they have a bad rep”, well darling go experience it yourself first and don’t go up with friends that cause a scene 🥴! Cause it’s amazing when your on your own, and if your feeling in danger, they do handle it very well when you ask for help to the correct people like the manager or Door Bouncers.

Good pub with excellent food and very good service and security. Does get loud late at night so go if you’re in party mood. We did have someone causing disruption but security was pretty quick to act on it. Servers were excellent.
The fish and chips excellent choice!!!
The veggie all day breakfast was very good apart from the veggie sausages very dry.
Meatball sub melt very nice, delicious sauce.

Had a night out with friends and it was a great time! Kerry and Amelia were amazing behind the bar, had great recommendations and were lovely to chat to! Conner and Dylan were amazingly accommodating and Delboy was a great chatter with a brilliant attitude!
Overall the staff here are amazing and hope to be back!
Came for a little spot of lunch with my family. When we came in Michelle welcomed us when sat down at the table. When I went to the till to order the food Michelle was very helpfull with my food order and was lovely. The food was amazing and well worth the money. Will definitely be coming back after the service and food I've had today.
Had a great time on Wednesday when we visited Yates. Food was excellent. Good value as always. Excellent service from Michelle as always. Nothing is to much trouble. Love the fact I can have a desert even though I am dairy free, because they have vegan deserts.
Had a nice time at Yates Halifax for Mother’s Day. Great service from Logan and Amelia, very chatty asked us if our meal was ok. Make sure to ask about any requirements and allergies.

I attended the Harry Potter quiz night on the 29/01/2024 with 5 friends and had a wonderful experience Dylan, Amelia and Logan were working the bar and despite how busy it was provided prompt, cheerful and engaging service. Curtis was an entertaining and engaging quiz master that provided a wonderful night, Martin was the on duty manager and provided great service for seating as we had to make last minute changes and was incredibly accommodating. I will be attending Yates Halifax again in the future.
This is a fantastic venue. The staff are very friendly and professional. The pub looks very festive. The food is excellent and the drinks have a vast choice. The manager Martin is super great and very professional and passionate about the whole place. Event calendar is also superb.

Hubby and I went out for tea. We went to Yates. Hubby ordered mixed grill and I had bbq chicken we both enjoyed it. The staff was friendly specially Michelle who came up several times to check everything was OK. The choice was good and puddings too at a very reasonable price. Would recommend.
