Good quality British Pub Classics in a bar with a good range of beers. Array of TV’s with groups of male fanatics in my opinion spoils it a little however service is good and friendly. Maybe not a special occasion type of place however great place for a safe bet.

From the outside it doesn't look anything special. Dont let that fool you. The foods great. Although there's only a small menu it's still worth it. All home cooked. Lovely & hot & plenty on the plate. Worth a visit

Brilliant pub. Took my 13 year old son to sing at the open mic night and bar staff and customers were great. Excellent atmosphere and great beer made a top night. Would fully recommend.
Just been in the Murg after an hour at it's sister pub the Standard of Freedom, we had the tapas selection of the varied food menue at the Murg and it was absolutely delicious! Not only are the staff the friendliest that you could wish for, the food is exceptional too!!
