Went there after traveling to visit our daughter last Sunday, booked and got a great table overlooking the canal.
We went for four carvery’s and had at it!! The service and the food was excellent- everything was just right and the staff went the extra mile and then some.
The best thing was that we found out that lots of the food was cooked fresh and the Yorkshire pudding actually made on site from scratch, none of the frozen batches here.
I’ve eaten at a few Brewers Fayres but this one is really significantly better than lots of others!

Been going to the water mill for 2 year's now on and off. Never had a problem very nice staff, great food, service 1st class.going for our 1st Sunday carvery tomorrow. Reports on that later. New manager very helpful too.
I've got to admit, 2021-2022 was not the best I'd if rated it 2/5 but went recently and wow just wow the food was remarkable, I've not had a meal that great since 2019. The into downfall was it's now 2 for £10.99 instead of 2 for £8.99 but the quality of food is worth the extra £2. Will be returning and have recommend to family and friends.
I went here with my partner my neighbour and my partner's mother for a meal and it was great the food is fantastic and the people and staff are great there they are based in Salter hebble opposite the petrol station i would highly recommend going here for a fantastic meal

I booked lunch for 11 people for the end of season bowling club.
We was welcomed and seated all together.
Everything from start to finish was professional and efficient.
Food arrived promptly hot and all together.
We had no complaints from anyone.
The the restaurant was quite at the time I feel that was due to the road works going on outside.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant not only for the quality of food the service and the price was very good.
Went on Christmas Day. Service was amazing and the staff where friendly and accommodating even through it was busy. The food was excellent as usual and not rushed at all! Been to expensive restaurants over the last two years which were not great! Defo recommend!

For a food serving pub we were delighted at the service we received today 15 Sept 2021. Mid week it was fairly busy because if the superb meal deal at £8.99 for 2 people! (Not sure how a place survives by such low costs though).
A lovely spacious place with nice staff. We'll be back for sure.
*Update*:
July 2022. We've returned a few times since my review. Our experience hasn't been as good as previous. Queues for ordering, miserable staff (not all of them. Just the young ones), repeated unavailable food choices and staff not asking for vouchers/discounts when ordering thus, you end up paying far more than you planned.
Otherwise, it's still a nice place to visit.

Can't go wrong it's cheap and cheerful . I had the Sunday carvery and kids picked from the menu .
Called in for breakfast this morning, great choice and availability of hot and cold foods, friendly welcoming staff , nice and clean place will definitely call again
