This is a nice TGI's with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was nice and the service didn't take too long. There were some food items not available on the main menu which was explained on ordering. However on the children's menu, we weren't told an item was unavailable until after the meal arrived. We then were not offered an alternative. Thankfully the staff refunded the meal as a result

Nice food, relatively quiet surprisingly compared to say the Castleford/Escape one. Some options on the children’s menu not available. We were told prior to ordering which was fine. Service very good although repeatedly Referring to me as “mate’ and my partner as “luv” was not a problem Per se. I can understand it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Would return

Went for Celebratory Lunch after family member's Graduation. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they straight away asked if any of us had any dietary requirements which I thought was good. One had a stacker burger was enjoyable, very spicy 🔥 so beware if you don't like too much spice. Two had the sesame chicken and they both enjoyed it, another had the chicken Tacos which looked delicious and according to the person who are it, was! The only disappointing one was my meal l had the Philly steak baguette and the steak was rather chewy and tough. They bought over some complimentary cake 🍰 with a candle on for the person who had graduated, which was a really nice touch. Only reason it has four 🌟 and not 5 was because of my steak, l would go again but just choose something different. 😃

Went here for a break from cooking between Christmas and New Year. Being a big chain the food, drink and service expectations were as expected. The waitress was helpful and answered or went to find answers for our questions, everyone enjoyed the food we ordered. Can't go far wrong if you want to eat at an American style diner.

I had the pleasure of experiencing brunch at TGI Fridays Halifax, and it was nothing short of amazing! Jacob and the entire team provided top-notch service that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. Jacob, our server, was an absolute rockstar. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor made our dining experience exceptional. He recommended some delicious brunch options that left our taste buds dancing with delight. Jacob's professionalism and enthusiasm for his work truly shone through, making our visit memorable. But it wasn't just Jacob who impressed us; the entire staff at TGI Fridays Halifax displayed a remarkable commitment to customer satisfaction. The food was superb, the drinks were fantastic, and the overall ambiance was delightful. I highly recommend TGI Fridays Halifax for brunch, thanks in no small part to the fantastic service provided by Jacob and the outstanding team. They've set a new standard for excellence in dining, and I can't wait to return for another delightful experience!

Had an enjoyable meal, no major complaints and consistent with most other experiences at TGIs. Food was great, hot, decent portions and tasty. They had a deal on where kids eat free at school holidays which was good. Service could have been a little quicker. Restaurant wasn't very full and took around 1.5 hours for two courses.

Food was brilliant. Would definitely come here again soon. Service is slightly strange and I’m not sure how I feel about the staff kneeling at the table to take orders. Lots of staff were stood at the kitchen area where we could clearly see our food was ready.

Came to Halifax for the day from a week's holiday in Hebden Bridge. Came for late lunch/early dinner and was pretty empty. A few of our party went for the 2 courses for £18 which was good value. We had the mozzarella sticks which are always a crowd pleaser. The beef tacos were really tasty with great crunch from the pomegranate seeds - a lot more filling than expected. The chicken fajitas were also full of flavour. Good pints of Sam Adams. We had a gluten free member and the staff were extremely accommodating (bringing the manager over to take their order specifically felt slightly too much but we understand why). Overall a really great meal, despite no tequila and it feeling like there was an earthquake every 5 mins (assuming the cinema was the culprit!).

Visited today with my fiancé and his parents for a celebratory dinner and the atmosphere and service by Jacob was incredible. The whole team were lovely, friendly, and accommodating but Jacob specifically went above and beyond on service, making sure drinks were refilled, checking in with us on wait times, and just being friendly and welcoming throughout. It was a lovely night made even better by the service received. The food was also delicious, absolutely no complaints, and the drinks were wonderful too. A lovely place to eat with a great team of staff.

Probably the best restaurant experience we have had in a long time. The service and interactions with Dawid and Becca was hilarious as we were made endless balloons and regularly checked on throughout our night. If I could rate the service higher I would.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming. They don't keep you waiting and always try their best to help you. We got the bottomless drinks and they made sure that you didn't have to ask for one again because they kept bringing them over. I have been here many times and it is consistently good other than the first few times when we had to wait quite a while. The food arrived hot and there wasn't any issues, they even went through with our special requests and didn't miss anyone out. We ordered the sundaes which are a key strength for them because they are made so well. The ice cream isn't any old ice cream and they make sure that it is presented well. The only downside is that there is a bit too much whiped cream on top of them. The only issue we had was that the spoons we received were scratched and, therefore, had dirt on them. Another sanitary issue was dirt on the roof above the cubicles. Other than those two minor issues, we had an amazing experience and would definitely go again.
