first time at the Sun Inn and must say the food was beautiful and it was best lasagna i've ever had. The staff was lovely too and very polite. you must try this place, you will not be disappointed, I will definitely be going back again
Great food and bar staff. It was a little quiet but then we were there at 7pm before the kitchen shut at 8.
Absolutely beautiful, food, staff, atmosphere, experience. We won a steak dinner for the Easter egg hunt and wasn't expecting much but could not fault anything. We will be returning with friends as our new local when ppl visit 5 star πππππ
This was always our go-to place, back in the day but unfortunately it's had a rough time over the past 5-6 years. We came with family, hoping for a return to form and we weren't disappointed. There were four of us and we all had meals for the Two for Β£8 menu, they were delicious and huge (and I like to eat!) Attentive service too, would highly recommend and hope this can be the start of their revival.
Very quiet for Friday lunch but food was great. We both had the small plate which is great value. Scampi, chips and peas served with tartare sauce and then I had Apple and Peach crumble. My Dad had Ginger Sponge. Great portions and excellent service. Plenty off off-road parking.

A lovely pub with tasty food.
Being passing here for a few years and kept saying we will try the food, finally got round to going on Sunday and we were not disappointed. The pub it self is clean, bright and airy, Staff are lovely too.
Myself and other half had the Sunday roast, not one thing to complain about everything was tasty and cooked perfectly, also piping hot which is a must for me. Good choice for the children too who both ate everything on their plates which is a rare occurance, safe to say we will be back :)

Have also looked at their wider menu, which is full of great dishes.
Service is great, happy & polite staff. Always coming around to check tables are clean & tidy & empty glasses are removed.
The atmosphere is great, especially in the beer garden on a weekend. It's a busy pub, but there is always plenty of space & seating.
My daughter and partner took me for a birthday treat. I had heard rumours about how good the food was,so I chose this. One word. EXCELLENT!!!. The food was very nice,four of us all chose a different meal,and all four were very much impressed. Full plates too, excellent value for money. All staff members deserve special mention. Keep up the good work.

The staff are really friendly - the food was lovely and you definitely get plenty. The prices are reasonable and the place itself has a nice atmosphere.

We had been to the mind body and soul fayre near by and stumbled on to this pub . My friends and I decided to try the food and we weren't disappointed, the food was freshly made , well presented , most importantly was very tasty and value for money .
The young lady behind the bar needs praising too, she was very friendly, couldn't do enough for us and looked after us very well . I would happily drive out from Leeds again just to visit a nice , child friendly pub like this again .
Had such a great time here, the food was incredible including the service. The atmosphere was great also, the staff are such a vibe. We will definitely be back π
