Had a very enjoyable meal here today: Chicken Caesar Salad, Aubergine & Spinach Lasgne and a huge bowl of fries. Tasty and large portions served in a lively atmosphere. Good coffee afterwards too. Highly recommended.
The food here is always good, the atmosphere and service is impeccable and the location is also lovely. I've only rated the food 4 stars as my steak wasn't the best and I'd recently had a better one at Mezze in Brighouse.
Edit: I got a really good salt aged rib eye recently so my review is changing for 5 stars everything! (See newest photos)

2 of us dined there Friday early doors. Friendly, inviting. We both had the soup for starters, which was very tasty and served with a splendud, warm, crispy Italian bread. I had the Duo of Lobster, which involved half the tail served in shell. The remainder was in ravioli parcels. A rich tomato and garlic sauce accompanied this. I wasn't looking to fill myself up as I'd be drinking later, but if not, I would have ordered a side of vegetables or potatoes of some sort.
My mate took the Duo of Lamb. I'm not sure what the other part was(I didn't ask), but he had some lovely roast lamb.
It came to £88.00 including tip, which was applied at the customary 10%.
I've not tried many other restaurants in Halifax, so I can't compare it to anything similar as yet. But in my experience, I'd say it was reasonable value for money. But I'd always rather pay a little more for this kind of cuisine over say pub food so I was extremely happy overall.
It's more of a restaurant than a bar/cafe as was the impression I got from a brief perusal of the website.
Highly recommended to try any ways...

It is a very nice place to have a nice meal at. I really loved the ambiance and the service was good too! The food was very good, however, a bit on the expensive side. But it was expected. I really loved it and overall a very nice place to treat yourself at!
This place is amazing, a true gem, food is delicious, fresh, varied menu, steaming hot and so very tasty 😋. The staff are 1st class, friendly, Informative, efficient, can't do enough for you, lovely atmosphere and ambience, not silky prices, worth every penny! Beautiful place to dine. Went for Valentines day and ot was perfect.
Starters were the scallops and duck rolls. Everything was delicious
Mains were the Fillet of Beef with lobster tail. Both cooked to perfection 👌
Desserts were the lemon meringue and profiteroles a perfect end to a perfect meal.
Worth the price and the portions were a great size. We were satisfied and stuffed!
Tasty starter menu and mains ranging from pizza to fillet steak. Plenty of seating. Upmarket restaurant, fairly expensive but tasty.
