We had a night in Halifax and wanted somewhere different to Nando's or frankie and Bennies chain food.
A quick look on TripAdvisor shown up Kamran Balti House.
Do not be put off by the outside, go in up the stairs.
On seating poppadoms and dips are brought to the table.
We ordered a couple of starters each just to try different food, they were fantastic.
The mains turned up and were really good.
All in it cost us £20 PP with a pint of Kobra.
The staff are really good and will recommend you a dish if you are unsure or want to try something for a change.
Bargain! If you like a curry? You won't be disappointed.

On an away game with maidstone at Halifax, when I came across this little gem. Food and staff were excellent! Loads of food for your money, I would recommend to anyone visiting the town. Thanks guys, see you next year.
We dined on new year's Eve as a party of 7 with family. Food and service was excellent. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious! Table was nicely laid and great atmosphere. Lovely staff. We were amazed when we got the bill - excellent value for money. Definitely worth a visit - take out or eat in. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great night x
These guys do the best madras and korma I've ever had, always been pleased with food and service whether ordering a takeaway or coming into the restaurant.

Excellent food and wonderful staff. As a family we've been coming to Kamran for years and we've never had a bad curry. Great value for money and a real personal touch. I lived in New Zealand for a year and when I got back the first meal I wanted was from Kamran.

First time we have eaten here, but it won't be the last. Took a chance as we hadn't been here before, but it was lovely. We were made to feel really welcome and were advised on food that I was unfamiliar with. Nageena served us and she was helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our food. I had masala fish and my husband had king prawn korma. He's not usually a fan of Indian food, but he really loved it. Thank you!
Just visited with my partner and daughter. Food was amazing and the waitress was so lovely and friendly! Will be returning but only on the Friday or Saturday as that's when she's working 😂 Great value as well and offered takeaway.

Absolute little gem of a curry house. Not from around these parts but came in with my better half at the weekend. The waitress was absolutely brilliant, she was so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The chicken bhuna was to die for and the mixed starter was beautiful.. Will definitely be back when I'm in Halifax again.

Called in with a friend after we had been out in Halifax for a few beers.
Was greeted and made to feel welcome, we served FREE poppadoms and pickle tray, then we had 2 curries with sides and 2 alcoholic drinks.
Every thing was so fresh, I can not fault anything at all. Yes the alcohol was abit pricey at £4 a pint.
But overall it was the best Indian food I have ever eaten, without a shadow of doubt.
Food prices are very average, but The food is 10/10.
