I would highly recommend going to Ziggy's spice house, we've been quite a few times and i must say i don't have a bad word to say about them, if you pick off the menu or go for the buffet (which i might add as a very good selection of starters and mains) your going to get a really tasty meal, their food is excellent, as is their customer service, i am one very satisfied customer. :-)
Loved my curry tonight, so full of flavour I was so full I couldn't finish it. Beautiful curry recommend it to everyone. Xxx
Best curry ive had in many years... opted for the non fat bhuna as a "treat" as i am currently following slimming world. Like i said really lovely curry friendly staff definatley a long term customer.

My 3 kids always choose ziggys for their birthday meal.. love the food ..love the service.. absolutely love the pickle tray. ! Currys are amazing and well presented.. such a lovely environment. Never have we ever had a bad experience their thats why we always go bk. ��

Top quality food specially desi breakfast like halwa puri.
Would reccommend to all who have a passion for Authentic Asian/Indian style food. Amazing place to go and amazing food. pleasant and you feel very welcome by all the staff and the restaraunt owner. the food is delicious and caters to every individual taste. Fairly cheap too.
the staff are very fast and so polite and well manered. the restaraunt is immaculately clean. just can't fault ziggy's spice house at all.

The only place to go after a night out on the town, everyone seems to descend on Ziggy's after a night out.
It offers both a takeaway and a sit in restaurant, the staff are friendly and everyone knows Uncle Ziggy!
The menu offers quite a wide selection and isn't restricted to just Indian meals, I think they do a very good pepperoni pizza and excellent cheesy chips. Pricewise it's quite good value for money, I never leave thinking I've been ripped off.
The restaurant is clean and the fish tank provides something relaxing to look at while you wait for your meal.
There is a taxi firm next door so you don't have to mess about getting a taxi elsewhere which is a bonus.
this is a great takeway - unlike other posters we eat the food sober (!) and its absolutely fantastic. The staff are really polite and courteous and we are never disappointed
Nice envriomnent after a night out can eat in or takeaway .
Lots of seating in side - good selections of foods - cuurys . pizza , burgers .
They provide jugs of water with the meal which is a very sensible idea .

Lovely food, friendly owner!
A great place with great tasting food, a good variety on the buffet they offer and a friendly staff to-boot.
It's run by an owner who takes great pride in the running of his business. He even suggested that if we have specific requests for the buffet, to ring ahead so that he can have them specifically prepared fresh.
More restaurants should be run like this. 😊
I found this late at night as I was driving around looking for a curry house that was still open after 12am and didn't have 0-1 out of 5 on the Scores On The Doors website. Happily they were open until 1.30am and are rated 5/5. It's a little tatty looking but staff were incredibly friendly, quick and efficient, the food was tasty, inexpensive and prompt to arrive. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
I have been visiting Ziggys for a number of years now and have to say it's one of the best restaurants in Halifax and well worth a visit. Both the staff and management are extremely friendly and can't do enough to make you feel welcome so much so my children insist on spending birthdays there.
The buffet food is very good value for money and there is plenty of choice, great for all ages highly recommended
Incredible food, but at a high price. If you are going I would definitely recommend the excellent buffet that they have which is worth for around £10 a person where as a curry on it's own a la carte will cost £7.

Great starters .great curry although a tad expensive but hospitality by owner is great,been many times and nothing is below standard some of the more bigger so called curry houses could learn from this....
Staff excellent, friendly and very helpful..the buffet is great..loads to choose from and always served hot..been loads if times..highly recommend you go.
