We had our daughters baptism party here yesterday and it absolutely perfect!!!! The food was gorgeous and there was so much of it and the service was spot on. Super friendly helpful staff and amazing food. The marquee looked beautiful and was decorated so nicely. A huge thank you for making our party perfect. Would highly recommend!!!!!

Spam fritters and lamb taurine then ham hock blue Potaoes marmalade poached egg and a croquette of ham,chel had the 6 ounce ribeye pepper sauce chips tomato great taste and a good bowl of extra mushrooms as a side,my daughter had normal menu popcorn chicken and the chicken burger overwhelming stacked so high with salad onion rings bacon 2 full rashers mozzarella cheese lots of sauce skinny fries wow mega,service was great definitely will be back.
This was our third visit in 5 weeks, the food is absolutely wonderful, we had the picnic table on our first visit with taster sizes of lots of scrummy foods, second visit we had the steak - gorgeous with the usual accompaniments and last night we had the seafood platter OMG it was fabulous! The staff are really welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble - this is my new favourite place to eat
Had a lovely meal here this evening. Lovely venue, delicious food , great portion size, excellent value for money but above all fantastic service . The best service I’ve had for a long while , lovely girls . Will definitely be back .
We had a wonderful lunch here today. We've driven past a few times but never had a chance to come in as we have two little boys who keep us busy. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and entertained our boys 1yr old and 3yr old. The meal was delicious and we knew the boys were happy as they didn't make a sound as the shovelled mouthfuls of food in. After the meal we let the boys have a play in the fun outdoor play area. The boys were in their element which as most parents know, as long as the children are happy, it makes it easier for us. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back.

Heard a lot about this place, so decided to go , so glad we did what a wonderful place. The food is really good the staff are so polite and friendly. Will surely return. Wonderful choice and amazing value for money.

Our favorite local pub! Great food, particularly the Sunday dinners, and great selection of drinks. They also make a mean espresso martini! We also came for the tasting menu which was exceptional!
Went for Christmas lunch it was totally amazing food! Besr christmas meal ever. And the staff also made the day. Only criticism there were not crakers �
We found this pub after being refused at 2 other pubs as they were booked up for meals and I am glad we did. The service was excellent and the food fantastic. What an amazing find and I will certainly go back here.
The Hare and Hounds is the place to be, fantastic food, quality service, wish I could pick this pub up and drop it in Belfast

Just came here randomly on the way home and we were so glad we did. The food was delicious and big portions. We had the rodeo burger and chicken burger. All freshly made including chips. Lovely staff and nice decor. We had our 2 babies and they were family friendly. Even had spare nappies in the loos which was good because we had left ours at home. Although this place is miles from home, we will be back.
We got a warm welcome from the staff. The food was fantastic, really good quality ingredients and perfectly prepared, Nice range of drinks too, my wife particularly enjoyed the red wine.
Happy to recommend for dinner, drinks or simply watching the game
Went here for our annual family Xmas lunch about 17 of us, including kids. It was absolutely amazing!! Food was delicious, hot and wow the portion sizes! Great friendly staff! Recommend anything on the menu! Thanks for making our meal so enjoyable! X
I got to say the service was spectacular and the food is best we have had the Sunday dinners big portions everything is homemade and you can tell it was lovely and we will be back thank you hare and hounds for lovely home cooked meals.
Food quality is fantastic portions are big so bring your appetite, Service is great and you get a warm welcome. Nothing to much trouble 5*
Excellent service and absolutely fantastic food. Also, good portion sizes. Would recommend VERY HIGHLY. Do yourself a favour and visit. Live in Sheffield but would go out of our way just to eat there.
Called in after our day out ! Omg the best food we have had in months, meat cooked to perfection and plenty of vegetables, service was quick and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be travelling from Sheffield to come and eat here again . Thankyou for making the first day of the new year fantastic .

Went for the second time in 2 weeks, loved it! The food is homemade, cooked to order and very plentiful. Their burgers are something else, so much choice and very different served in a brioche bun with well cooked chips, mixed salad and coleslaw - excellent! Hubby had a steak n ale pie full of meat with a shortcrust topping, great chips, peas n extra gravy - very good too. Can't wait to return with the girlies!

Took my elderly parents for lunch. Terrific welcome from all the staff. Great service, fantastic food and amazing value.
Granddaughters birthday meal with family. Such a great choice and everyone agreed the food was delicious. Waitress was very good meals all came to table piping hot and we all served together. Will definitely be calling in again.
Visited quite a few times now, the home cooked food is amazing, never ordered the same thing twice and always enjoyed what we've received, the staff are friendly which creates a great atmosphere.... definitely recommended
Had a great evening, food was fantastic and very hot when served. Server was lovely as were the owners (and cooper the dog was so sweet!)
Between us we had 3 of the burgers, hotshot parm, tipsy chicken and gammon. All were fantastic. Chicken with JD sauce and Brie starters were also great. Bit disappointed with the deep fried pickles as a too much batter for me but overall everything was great including the Battenberg cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding
Quiz was also great fun, just a shame there was not many people in, but overall a really good night. Would definitely return!
