The Winterburn - Halifax - Photo album

We have stopped off for a pint during our hike with the dogs over the Easter Weekend. The staff were super attentive and really welcoming to us and our fur babies 🐾 so we decided to book and have dinner the following evening. We were told we could bring the dogs as well into the bar area for dinner
Very nice little place. This is somewhere you're not likely to know about unless you know someone who's been or have seen the reviews online as it's tucked away in a lovely quiet location. The menu isn't massive, but there were plenty I could have chosen for all three courses, and a lot of thought h
The view up there is amazing. Had a lovely meal tonight with my lass (whom of which is vegan) and her mum. We found the food delightful, vegan menu gets a big thumbs up. Even had a little bit of pud as we were tempted by the vegan cake and ice cream. Would recommend.
Lovely pub in a great position. Went there for Monday lunch, they were still serving good despite it being mid afternoon when we arrived. Service was quick and friendly and the food and drinks were good quality and very good value for money. They had a gluten free (NGI) menu as well as a vegan one,
Food fresh and very tasty, staff friendly, helpful and informative about the food they're serving and the prices are very competitive worth every penny will book next time can be busy around meal times.
Very accommodating, great food, and the staff are clearly very involved in customer satisfaction. Highly recommend to anyone nearby for a meal out.
Had a lovely meal with the family this evening. I wasn't expecting much but I was impressed by the food and service. Absolutely loved it and I hope to be back soon as they are updating the menus... cant wait.
What a smashing place, staff were very nice and friendly. Food was excellent, but the best bit was the doggie dinners as shown, with two chocolate Labradors they were straight through them. Would definitely recommend. 👍
New hosts and a very welcome experience, worth the walk for the beer and craic, the food is a simple menu very well cooked and stands comparison to the established local competition. Happy to recommend!
The most wonderful old fashioned pub ,bursting with atmosphere and out of this world views. The food was beyond delious at very reasonable prices. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the host was amazing.
Great views out. Very friendly staff. Great food. Good prices.
2021: Four years on from my first review and my comments still stand strong. The views are lovely, the service excellent and staff always friendly. Food good size portions and freshly made.
Lovely, classic pubfood (but vegan!), nice beer and board game selection, amazing view. Very welcoming after a cold, wet walk.
Food v good staff excellent lovely views when sitting in the beer garden
Lovely meal, freshly cooked. Staff very friendly. Definitely recommend.
I went there last week with my sister, it was Friday so yes we had fish and chips, probably the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Simply gorgeous. Then there’s the view of Calder valley. Happy valley!
Lovely food and pub views are amazing !
Came here with my two young children, the staff where more than accommodating and where very friendly and helpful. The food was a 5star for me, the children's portions were very generous and they said it was delicious. I had prawns and if you are a fish lover you could tell they where fresh and beau
