We drive past many local chip shops to come visit Nicki’s. The food is fantastic and nothing comes close locally. They really care about the quality of their food too which is rare these days.

Amazing fish & chips! Had a large cod and chips and its how fish & chips should be. Fish was coming apart and so soft and the batter was crunchy. The chips were a lovely golden colour and tasted amazing. My partner has the chicken tikki naan and that is tasty. Its a generous amount and burst with taste. This is a fav chip shop and we continue to go there.
Absolutely fantastic fish, in my top 3 ever, really thin crispy batter and thick, flaky fish.
Not so struck on the chips, they were undercooked, although not greasy
Great fresh food, amazing staff and great choice. We have a store next door and are regulars here, Nicki the owner and staff are very helpful and the food is WOW...

Visiting from Derby, what a little gem!! Lovely staff, food cracking. Sample of chips and peri peri salt while I waited. Really enjoyable experience. Well done girls your a credit to customer service considering you don't get tips your attitude is superb.😀
Just had large lightly battered cod and chips,a 1/2lbs cheeseburger with salad and sauce and a chicken wrap with salad and sauces,and I cannot recommend it enough,beautiful food,great service and I'm so chuffed. Who needs Mcxxxxxx. Great food for years.Thanks all.xx
