First time visit here. I found the place itself of a good quality. Food here was nice. I had cod, chips, fish bites and the burger. All were to a good standard and I went not long before closing which sometimes can be the worst. Staff were friendly and card payments are taken with a 30p charge
Food is amazing even my fussy children ate it all.. staff are amazing and polite . And owners are so lovely . Best chipshop around . I would recommend royal fish bar to anyone!! 5 stars
Popped in on our way back from running some errands in the area. Shop was really clean, staff friendly, service brilliant. Got home and had some of the best fish and chips ever. The kebab was amazing too. Highly recommend this place.

Best orange chips in the black country, sometimes. Other times they are too greasy.
Staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. Fish and meat is always cooked to absolute perfection. I travel all the way other side of Stourbridge to get my chips, only place Iāll ever go!
Speedy delivery and a generous portion. Chips tastes fresh and were piping hot still. Curry sauce was amazing. Couldāve done with a touch more vinegar, but nothing that canāt be fixed at home. Would recommend.
Best in the area, chips are lovely and crispy and not too greasy. It does get busy, though, so allow for that when stopping by.
Beautiful food, fast service and at a reasonable price. Even during peak times, managed to get served and eat astonishingly fast.
Parking is the only downside as there's practically none outside, however can park on nearby streets.
This chippy is by far the best fish and chip shop in the area. I can't go as far as saying in the region or the Midlands because I simply haven't tried many others, but I've tried many of them in and around Halesowen and this one is miles ahead of anyone else. The chips are ridiculously good. Always cooked perfectly and crispy. The fish is soft and the batter crispy. And the do the best kebab meat around. Its full of meat and not filler. This the chip shop to go to, you won't be disappointed.
Went here on the 24th of January 2021. the place was very busy but even with online orders, takeaways and what not i did not have to wait too long all things considered. the order was some chips, a potato scallop, curry sauce and a battered sausage.
First thing to note is the chips are also battered which to me was fantastic but can put some people off. They where amazing with a great crunch on the outside and soft, fluffy inside. perfect for my taste. portions where very generous too so always good
The scallop was a bit soggy on the batter but i think it was just a tad bit old. still tasted great and was quite big as well.
The curry sauce was pretty mild and a bit sweet. not too runny. overall very good.
The battered sausage was lovely and crunchy on the outside and still very juicy on the inside and also again a generous size.
Overall i would say this is a great chippy and can definitely see why it had such a a wait but dont let that put you off it will be well worth it.
