Bull's Head - Hailsham - Photo album

Well if you want to eat I'd recommend booking in advance as I personally hate being disappointed. Menu is excellent. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. We stumbled across this place looking at the local attractions. The campsite is very reasonably priced. Facilities are excellent for such a sm
The Bull’s Head is said to be the local home of Morris Dancing in the South East. It was excellent. A Great English Folk tradition in full swing.
Lovely whitebait starter, well cooked and non-greasy. Chips similar, cut thin with a curved cutter. Massive starter, couldn't eat it all, but it was yum. Wine OK too. Nice and quiet. We sat outside and were served outside. Reasonable prices for generous portions.
Not trying to be a gastropub, just honest regular pub food at its best, all the favourites and some specials, we had the burger, steak, pie, lamb chops - everyone left very happy. The food is clearly freshly prepared. Generous portions served by nice local people
We booked in to stay at the campsite and obviously ate at the pub twice. Nothing beats having a campsite attached to a pub! Firstly, the campsite is great. The owner purposefully only has a limited number of pitches available despite ample room for more. This allows everyone plenty of room and the a
If you are looking for a warm, cosy and friendly place to submerge yourself in delicious food, then this the place to go. A miserable wet weather Sunday was instead enjoyed very much. Food was excellent, service was superb and we look forward to coming back for a nice roast. Thank you for looking
Great food and a menu with both the usual option and a few different choices. We had the seafood platter and the highland chicken and both were great
Arrived basically for the Sussex Chopper Clubs bike show, which was great, apart from the weather which wasn't bad apart from the wind which didn't stop blowing hard, destroying any ideas for camping. But it was a good time, and the food and service was good.
Went there for lunch and was greeted with smile and warmth. The food was delicious and was served with a smile. The place itself is nice and cosy. It felt more homely compared to other pubs. All the people who were serving had a welcoming gesture which I really appreciate. Overall good experience.
Lovely country pub with excellent service. The pies are amazing - home made and packed with meat. The dessert was lovely. Beers are Harvey which is a little unimaginative but they were well kept. Only disappointment was the duck spring rolls which tasted like the bought in variety and weren’t hot en
Went for lunch with friends. Food lovely & home cooked. Friendly staff. I would suggest booking as did get busy while we were there. Bit to cold to sit outside but was also a bit chilly inside.
Wow, was dropping off my daughter at School and wanted to introduce her to English Pub. Locals drinking at lunch having a laugh. Lovely Servers. The Fish and chips were good but the Stilton Leek Pie was incredible. The Sticky Toffee Pudding phenomenal. Been to England many times and these
We loved this pub and food was delicious. Home made and cooked to perfection! Little campsite behind which was great for a stop over.
Totally enjoyed meal, even if it was alittle too much, bus timetable alittle schechey so spoilt the end of our evening, taxi availability would have been handy, for us two knackered ladies, thanks 😊
