Last minute decision to go out for Sunday lunch so we thought we'd try here - good choice. Friendly welcome from staff, good food and great beer.

I do not give praise lightly and I have high expectations. I am well known for being critical and complaining. However, the Sunday lunch I had today at the Red Rose, Lindsey was outstanding. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive and the staff were knowledgable. Thank you
Wonderful local pub in a village setting. Popped in after travelling to the area that evening and able to get a table for 4 and a dog.

So glad I booked for the Sunday lunch on the Easter Bank Holiday as it was quite busy. Staff were friendly with good service. Overall, very nice and cosy, would definitely recommend.

Took a while to find, good selection of ales, quick service at lunchtime including food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Worth a detour to visit.

The Rose is hidden away but easy to find, it has great food, well kept beer and friendly staff all wrapped up in a cozy traditional building.
