Very nice pub, lovely back garden, toilets are very clean. The food was really nice. My only complaint is that our main dish was served at the same time as our starter. Very dog friendly, which was a bonus
This is a little gem of a pub. First impressions are that it is a little tired and unwelcoming, but the staff more than make up for that. Great home cooked food, that isn't fancy, but tastes good and is very reasonably priced. Drinks aren't over priced either. I have been to a 'gastropub' in the sam
I had a pleasant experience here, the food was really tasty. I had the macaroni cheese with bacon & garlic bread which came out in a generous portion! Also the staff were friendly. The pub itself has a very nice & relaxing environment. I did mention I wanted no salad with the macaroni cheese but it

Hidden gem. Countless times have walked by here. Had a lovely burger meal last week, the food was incredible. Good value and great service. Will definitely be back
I walked in this evening after having seen the sign from outside, directing me to the dining area, a place which I had previously been unaware they had, and enjoyed a lovely cajun chicken and chorizo pasta bake and 2 pints of Coke. When I stated that I didn't want garnish, I was immediately offered
Very busy Sunday lunchtime so over an hours wait for food. But our first round of drinks was taken off the bill so fair enough. Could not fault the food when it came.
Nice food, friendly atmosphere, dog friendly too.
Based in a beautiful old building and superbly location on the High Street. Beers were great. Food was good though some diners said their ale pie wasn't hot enough (the waiting staff did heat it up when asked). Other than that it was a lovely lunchtime experience.
Myself & my friend had lunch here Friday afternoon, the food was lovely & came out in good timing. Staff were attentive & polite. Catered to my requirements. Thank you!
Very nice experience for a quick bite to eat here today. Friendly and efficient staff. Proper sized food portions, good beer and dog friendly too.
