China Garden - Haddington - Photo album

Staff are really nice, great service. Food is fairly good. There's quite a big price difference between dining in and take away, we expected more in terms of presentation and quality when sitting down.
We had a sit in meal celebrating mums birthday. The China Garden is a wee restaurant, it's fairly nice decorated, well used. We ordered various dishes, beginning with Chicken noodle soup and ribs, all very nice. The main dishes were well presented, large bowl of rice to share among us. Everything
Food is amazing and delivery was very speedy. A little gem in Haddington.
We really enjoyed our sit-in meal. Service was fantastic: our waitress was very personable, giving our kids a crash lesson in the use of chopsticks. Food was surprisingly good: best Chinese food we’ve had in a while.
When here for a sit in meal and the service was good although with one hiccup which was acknowledged by the staff. Food arrived piping hot and was very tasty, good portion size too. Only real criticism is the price of the food, £4.50 for a portion of thin noodles is quite extensive in my opinion.
I had lovely deep fried crispy beef with chilli and honey with fried rice, chips and noodles. My husband had beef in black bean sauce which he said was nice but he felt the beef had perhaps been boiled. I had pineapple fritter. Delicious. Coffee is great too.
Full menu choice. Good food, large portions. Service could be improved, with less interference from Delivery men.
One of the best Chinese takeaways have had in East Lothian. Gorgeous beef curry and egg fried rice. Beef not burned or chewy at all. Melted in the mouth. Lovely sauce not too hot. Slightly more expensive than average but well worth it
We are back at our caravan at Aberlady and fancied a Chinese, we were recommended to try China Garden from Andrew Dyer. It was so good we really enjoyed it the food was great. One of the best Chinese we have ever had. 10 out of 10. Definitely our favourite from now on. Thanks Mr Mrs Sher
We went with our 8 month old daughter, the meal was excellent but I was disappointed there wasn't any highchairs for our daughter so she had to sit in her buggy until we were finished our meal then I had to sit with her on my knee to feed her. The staff were excellent and very attentive but not hav
We've been going here regularly for over a decade. The standard is consistently excellent, the welcome warm and the ambience relaxing. Highly recommended.
