We had our wedding meal at Tom Browns and it was perfect. They decorated the room for us, made sure our table plan and wedding favours were all in the correct place. Excellent value for money and they were really accommodating with the menu choices. The food was amazing and all our guests commented on how great the meal was. We’d recommend them for any special event. Thank you for making the day so special.
This place never fails me and today's afternoon tea was no exception! WOW! Bloody marvellous! An absolute treat from start to finish with the same attentive and wonderfully natured staff as always! Highly recommended!
Just had the most wonderful lunch here! Everything was great. Chateaubriand cooked on the rare side of medium rare which is as we like it, Parmesan and truffle fries were delicious, veg cooked perfectly and desserts to die for! Lovely waiting staff too. Will definitely go again!

Great fishcake starter. Beef roast dinner was lovely, generous portion size of beef, nice vegetables.
I had the afternoon tea. Every thing was fresh, you could order more sandwiches and tea. The food was amazing and the staff were all very polite. The service was excellent.
Fabulous food, and the attention to detail with the group booking was quality service. All my friends enjoyed the meal, and the vibe of Tom Browns..... perfect for a birthday celebration!

Wonderful meal at Tom browns today. Took my mum's and our kids and there was good to suit all. Plus some yummy cocktails.
Booked the brasserie for a lunch party for my sisters 30th. The setting is beautiful right next to the canal. The staff were so helpful with all of the booking, sorting high chairs in advance and taking our meal order. On the day, the food and drinks were great but again the service was exceptional, from the manager to our waitress. We had a cake delivered which was no problem and the waitress managed our table with no trouble at all even though it was boiling hot and we weren’t the easiest party as we had a few kids! Thanks so much to all for making it a special day.

We had Korean Fried Cauliflower (KFC!) and Roasted Cauliflower Soup served with cheese croquettes and truffle Oli.
Both were awesome!
Fit mains, we plumped for the Sunday Roast. One chicken and one beef.

I had the fishcakes to start
Sausage and mash for the main, it came with cabbage and onion rings, the mash was so creamy and soft.
Pudding was plum frangipani, with cinnamon ice cream, plums and ginger cream.
Would recommend going, but go on black Tuesday, so that you get money off your menu.

Visited on the 29th of July. What can I say, the place is lovely along with all staff that served us. The food was out of this world. So fresh & there was definitely no complaints from our party. We do live in Leicester but we will sure to visist again when we visit family in Nottingham. Thank you all again for the fabulous service.
Went for my mother and father in laws 50 wedding anniversary. The food was fantastic, especially the steak. Staff were very busy as the restaurant was full.

It was really good. The presentation on the picnic bench was so cute.
There was a mixture of savoury items, not just sandwiches which was really nice.
All of the cakes were lovely and done to perfection and there was two of everything so you didn't have to worry about splitting anything or someone missing out.
We were asked if we wanted additional sandwiches, which we definitely didn't need, we were absolutely stuffed by the end.
A fantastic set up for outside dining, with covered areas and patio heaters. Incredible food - never once had a meal here that was less than delicious. Loved the inclusion of local, seasonal wild garlic on the menu.
Awesome night after being stood up. Lol. The very best Chateaubriand I've had, cooked perfectly. Amazing Pinot Noir. And service that was just out of this world. Thanks guys it was perfect.
Nice country location set near the riverside. Reasonable parking at the side of the pub. Food was very tasty and the provide an excellent Sunday roast that's quality. Pleasant staff and covid safe. Worth a visit as we travelled 40 mins to destination to celebrate fathers day.
Had an absolutely wonderful Christmas afternoon tea here. Unlimited tea or coffee and as many sandwiches as we wanted. Also gave us boxes to take away what we couldn't eat. Totally recommend.

A lovely place with great food and friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit. Food was presented beautifully and was very tasty. The only downside was that we were repeatedly asked whether we wanted more drinks which became a little invasive.
We all received a tiny bottle of gin, as we were all mum's on Mother's Day, and a 20% voucher off another meal before middle of May.
What's not to like?! I hope to use my voucher soon 🥰
Nice gastro pub by the river, really good service. The famous crispy egg was a great starter, 2 people on the table had the burger and were not big fans, unusual taste and very thick compressed, im sure other people like them but not for us. Food coming to the tables around us all looked really good!
