I had been wanting to visit this establishment for a while, and am I glad I did. The Bridge & Bayleaf is situated on the banks of the River Trent and has beautiful views of the river itself and of the boats that are moored there. Inside the you will find it is exceptionally clean and well furnished.

Had many takeaways from here as easily the best around and eaten indoors a couple of times. Not the cheapest but the best quality and taste around so willing to pay that little bit more.

We went on Thursday night at about 7pm to eat in. It was good service. We asked for coconut rice which was not on the menu but they agreed anyway. They listened to our exact needs (thickness of dishes, absence of dairy) and food was served quickly. Recommended!
We are staying at peacock lake glamping and it was recommended that we should eat The bridge and bayleaf during our stay, from walking in to leaving we received the best service they were so welcoming and made us feel at home, the food was amazing, ive been to many Indian restaurants home and abroad

There was an issue with one of the pots (cracked) the 'ice cream' came in and a member of the kitchen staff came out and personally spoke to me regarding it to make sure I was okay with it..
