Great meal and beer at the Rifle Volunteer. Never been there until now as it used to be a very rundown pub. Now it is a very pleasant lunchtime trip with good food and attentive staff. Food is well made and tasty and plenty of it. None of the miniscule snack masquerading as a meal here. I would go

Always a pleasure visiting here. The staff are brilliant and it always has a great atmosphere. Being dog friendly is a plus! The owners are so kind and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
