Great country pub where we sampled the Sunday Carvery which was first class. Ambience was exemplary and the welcome we received was very friendly. It was quite busy and even though we hadn’t booked, the staff made every effort to accommodate us. Highly recommend.
Went for anniversary celebration eat out in, early evening on a weekday so not too busy. The pub is a lovely old building, atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The veranda is showing signs of needing replacement, but has lovely views. Food service was fast and friendly. The main point though is how
