Beech Cafe - Gulworthy - Photo album

Our first time visiting for the Halloween trail. Brilliant place. There is so much to do here. They also have tree surfing, which looked amazing. I tried to book online but had trouble. So I emailed and they replied swiftly and it was all sorted out. Recommend wearing wellies or boots as it was w
Friendly, informal, helpful. Granddaughter had a great hour climbing through the trees on rope bridges and whizzing down the zip wire. The staff were obviously very safety aware but we're not constantly on the kids backs over safety. One young lady got rather over confident and slipped off a bridge,
Absolutely brilliant, the walks are very clearly marked, loads of information on the trail and very scenic. Rounded off with the best veggie pastie ever. Friendly informative staff. A 5 star place to visit for a short or long walk, cycle or ride.
Fantastic place for the family! We did the Halloween trail and the kids loved it, plus the hot chocolates in the cafe were amazing! Would definitely come back again!
Absolutely love this place for all the family. The kids loved going on the junior tree surfing and my partner and I, thoroughly enjoyed the adult one. The staff are very friendly and easy to get on with. Very informative when explaining how to use the tree surfing course too. Nice little cafe and fr
Bit muddy but very good children enjoyed it
Set within a thick tree 🌲🎄 cover. Safe and friendly staff always on standby for help if needed. Kids had a blast with the junior tree surfer adventure experience. Worth the time and money. Initially can be quite scary but you quickly get comfortable and start to really enjoy this.
Excellent place for a walk, swim, cycle or just general lark about. Make sure you buy a parking ticket though as they will issue fines. The cafe is a friendly place. The Parkrun event is great fun.
So much space for mountain biking, dog walking or just a leisurely walk through the woodlands. Different trails to follow. Sadly, the dog bin was over flowing and desperately needed emptying, with some dog owners leaving their bags in trees!! With activities up in trees to be completed by all, its
Good walk to be out in the fresh air. Easy to find large car park. Easy go navigate routes
Great fun and confidence building for our 7 year old who loved it. Helpful and friendly staff who looked after everyone safely. Lots of additional walks and trails to go on in beautiful Woodlands. Loses a star due to lack of vegan food options in the cafe. Sorry, just one of those things for us but
Absolutely loved it, it was a gem found too late into the holiday (last day)...the walks are great, they also do tree top walks aswell as canoeing and bike hire. I'd defo recommend it for a family day out there's also a cafe that does hot food and cold drinks....Will defo be going on our return next
Lovely walks, some challenging, some restful. Excellent views. Safe for Dogs to enjoy. After your walk, you have an option to rest up in a lovely cafe. Which serves drinks and good food or snacks. Carpark costs £2.50 for the day. There are also toilets which are always handy. You can also pay to go
Highly recommend the high ropes and giant zip line. We had a great time here. Excellent staff who were able to accommodate a big group at short notice.
Went on the Halloween trail and really enjoyed it. Dogs welcome too. Kids enjoyed finding the clues. Looking forward to trying more activities at some point
We went on the high ropes. The adult course is amazing, I found it very challenging both physically and mentally, my son (16) really enjoyed the level of challenge. There is a junior course for little children or those who are new to high ropes. It's great fun but not very difficult. The reason that
This place is really good, has various walking trails, cycling trains, tree surfers and much more. Not too be missed if you're in the area, they have the most friendliest staff as well.
Took my adrenalin fuelled 6 year old tree surfing. She loves it. Staff are very professional and friendly also understanding of the kids that aren't so brave. A nice walk through a Pine Forrest aswell.
High ropes course is perfect. I saw a range of reactions from it was "just right" to "get me off" so it is a goldilocks skill-level - not too hard, not too easy! Instructors are really good, friendly and helpful. Groups on course mixed age and ability. You can work a bit as a team and share in each
