Lovely Wetherspoons with a great beer garden, which I believe is dog friendly. Disabled/pram/pushchair access via an outside lift. Very nice inside, too. Great service & the food was good. Would definitely visit again

Popped in for some breakfast and a pint before we jumped on to the bus to whitby(x93). A very clean and friendly pub, the staff were really friendly, helpful and courteous. We ordered on the app and the drinks arrived a couple of minutes later. My breakfast turned up after approx 10 mins and was piping hot, I thoroughly enjoyed it and won't hesitate to order another next time I'm in there 👍🏻

The food was good. I recommend the steak and kidney pudding. Place is alittle shabby and tables not cleaned properly, but the toilets were very clean and staff friendly, so they are big pluses to me, which outweigh other points.

We love Guisborough, and we always pass through it on our way to visit the Pickering area in North Yorkshire. The Ironstone Miner is a lovely modern Weatherspoons where we always stop to eat. Free disc parking up to 2 hours along the high street. Great service, good food at an affordable price.

It's got kerb appeal and is a great place to catch the summer sun with the extensive outdoor front area.Nice pint and friendly staff. But do think at times the staff were to few for the amount of customers, which left a long wait at the bar.Having said that I would return ,one of the nicer Wetherspoons I've visited!!!

Nice pub, only been here once for a drink with some friends. Sat outside and it was comfy. Table service too using you mobile phone to order and pay was nice and the service using this was quick! So that was awesome! I was intially going to rate 4 stars as you have to climb Mount Everest to get to the toilets, but realised I was being really harsh! So 5 stars it is! Didn't try the food here, but assume it is going to be unexciting average pub food as they all are really. Nothing too exceptional. But nice drinks and nice atmosphere with nice friendly staff. The toilets are well kept too which was a bonus! Especially for blokes who for some cannot seem to aim properly!

I attend the college nearby and come often for coffee or breakfast and the food and service is absolutely brilliant, same with the pricing. The atmosphere is always nice and welcoming, by far one of the best witherspoons I've been too.

Great menu, very competitively priced, fast service. Dropped a star as some items (beans and sausage) were not hot as though they had been left aside away from heat lamp for too long.

I like Weatherspoons pubs, reasonable food at very competitive prices. They always feel good too an Ironstone Miner is a great example of the brand. My wife and I visited at teatime on a very pleasant day, there were probably more people seated outside than in. Neither of us smoke, so not wishing to be encapsulated in a cloud of smoke or vapour, we sat inside. I wanted to take advantage of the unseasonal warm dry weather and cut my lawns, so we weren't planning to stay long and the rapid service assisted my plans. BBQ chicken with a large Pinot plus fish & chips with a pint of beer, £20.50! Unbelievable value. A few weeks ago, we had burger chips & diet cola at Five Guys for £30ish and it was sh*te. Anyone on a budget who fancies a decent meal with a great choice of drinks, why wouldn't you seek out The Ironstone Miner.

Popped in for the first time, to grab some lunch on the way home from sons football match. Food was lovely, staff were great. Busy venue but staff were finding time to keep everything spotless. Recommended.

Great staff, food was good and beer great, drinking Ruddles, went with friends, 4 of us, got 2 beers and 2 g and tees, pulled out a tenner and got loads of change. My mate was gob smacked at the price, wish they could open one in my village.

This finished off an interesting visit to Guisborough, it's really well worth calling in. Although it is 2 years old, it has a pleasant mix of traditional and modern decor. Excellent selection of real ales and wines to choose from. It's light and airy and a good place to meet up with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful and chatted to us, with the mutual comments about eachothers accents! The ladies were clean and tidy and well presented. The front entrance and beer garden is nicely set out, with flower tubs etc and steps leading up into the building. There is also an external lift to let wheelchairs and prams etc access as well. We'll certainly be calling in there again.

I've only visited once just stopping off for a quick pint. Service was quick, the beer was nice and only £2.15 to boot. Sat outside in the sun and watched the world go by for 20 minutes. I'll definitely return.
