Always order the Tasty Box with curry sauce. Owner is lovely and remembers you, price is very reasonable as well.
Awsome food, only bad thing was crispy sea weed was burnt, loved the food, owner was very chatty and nice.

Really excellent. Fresh, tasty, hot food using quality ingredients. I rarely get a Chinese takeaway for fear of disappointment but this really was excellent. Great customer service and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Always excellent.... Lovely family serving amazing food. when ever we order we are always treated to free prawn crackers and often some lovely spring rolls aswell. I can honestly say that tasty cook is the only Chinese takeaway we will ever use along as it stays under the current owners. Also ignore any negative reviews and judge for yourself. By far the best around. Thank you all for your hard work and beautiful food.
Considering we went for a takeaway, the whole focus on this review is ease of collection and quality of food. Only surprise on collection was cash only and couldn't fault the food, very tasty

The tasty box is very good, tasty as advertised, it was organised and presented carefully and cooked to perfection, their curry sauce is so nice and tasty, we usually ask for it extra spicy and they deliver on that also! The food is always hot and fresh from here, always give us a reason to come back :)
Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Best curry sauce ive tried, very nice battered chicken, chow mein, tasty box very good value - generous amount/variety, all very 'tasty' as per the name. Prompt delivery - much faster than other takeaways, even at busy times, always arrives hot. Lovely owners, a well-liked family business in gboro, with a loyal customer base - largely via recommendation, ppl come again and again due to quality of food and service.

Had my first takeaway from here, I went for the meal for one but swapped out the sweetcorn soup for hot and sour soup, I was glad I did as it was the best I have ever tasted ever!.The prawn toast was sublime, spring rolls delicious and crisp with hot squidgy goodness inside, every single piece of food was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back I noticed steamed pork dumplings on the menu and if what I had is anything to go by then I am sure they will be the most amazing dumplings ever. You should try them, if you like fresh authentic Chinese food then you won't be disappointed.
