Visited today for the first time. Had a lovely meal. And a large generous portion of cheese cake to follow ! Was lush! Visiting again on Thursday for an afternoon tea. Lovely friendly staff would highly recommend it.

Great little place tucked on the end of the Fox & Hounds Hotel. We stopped for a bowl of chicken and veg soup, blt wrap, sweet chilli chicken wrap and the ploughman's tray. Every bit of it was beautiful from the chunks of chicken in the soup to the last grape off the ploughman's. Will definitely be back. Thanks

Well what can I say. What a pleasure it was to come here. The staff were very attentive and the food, of which we had afternoon tea was simply gorgeous and was well worth the money we paid. Will certainly be back again! Keep up the good work x

Great cafe when passing to a funeral in Loftus. The cappuccino and bacon brie roll was excellent. The bacon was cooked per excellence not overdone or underdone. Lovely to sit outside in the sun too. Little gem of a cafe thank you.

What a lovely little find tucked away in Slapewath, Guisborough. Lovely immaculate interior, nice and cosy and warm, the staff were great all very chatty and pleasant, delish food and very reasonably priced. Will be lovely in the summer as their outdoor areas look great. Will most definitely be going back. 👍☺️

Went for afternoon tea to celebrate a special anniversary. When entering the place, it was all set out lovely and considering it is only a small area seemed very cozy. The food was lovely not too much. The sandwiches must have been made fresh as they were lovely and fluffy. Same with the scones and cakes. Very delicious and filling. So much so could even take away anything we didn't eat on the day. Staff were polite and helpful when we required the tea pot refilling again and again 😅 was lovely tea. The place was clean and tidy as well. Think it's also dog friendly.

We had the vegetable soup and pepper and tomato soup, both piping hot and tasty with a hot bread roll. The ham, cheese and tomato toastie was delicious with the fresh salad and coleslaw. The Apple crumble slice was delightful with the coffee. Well priced and a big bowl of water for the dog too. Service was excellent the young lady took my order and she could not have been nicer ,so polite . All the food folk were having looked tempting and the place was very clean and inviting . It will be my go to place in future when I am going south . Thank you

We went for afternoon tea with 6 adults a 4 year old and a baby. The kids afternoon tea was great! Nuggets and chips with loads of sweets! Only small issue was confusion around a cheese free afternoon tea which we had asked them for when we booked, the afternoon tea did come with a cheese free quiche, but it did have a normal cheesecake on it. Once we explained again they were happy to swap it for another but of cake. One of the party did have a vegetarian afternoon tea which we had no issues with.

Went for afternoon tea which was nice. The site says £10 for traditional and £12 for parmo afternoon tea,and included tea or coffee,so my friend and I had one of each. However prices were £12 and £15 accordingly so maybe site needs to be updated. I also asked for brown bread but white came, no problem I didn't say anything. So all on all it was nice better prices from others in the area and will go back

Lovely panelled interior. Great little cafe and we often go for morning coffee. Had a sausage bun this time to go with my coffee which was a good quality bun with a nice sausage filling. Decent quality sausages as well. Staff very Nice.

What a lovely homemade afternoon tea! Fresh sandwiches with delicious fillings which we had a choice of, big slices of quiche and cake and bottomless tea and coffee, all topped off with excellent service. Great music meant a warm and welcoming atmosphere too. We'll definitely be back - thank you all.
