Great food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
I don't often write reviews but Cookfella's forces an exception. The food is excellent, service spot on, all at a good price; £7 for a mojito for example. Separate restaurant at the back means the bar at the front keeps a bar atmosphere.
This place was recommended on Trip Advisor as the number 1 place to eat in Guisborough. And it did not disappoint. To start, the service given by the staff was second to none; they could not do enough for us.

What a fantastic place to dine especially with friends! Friendly cosy atmosphere with service that's second to none not forgetting the food too!! Good range of tasty dishes on a varied menu this is our go-to eatery and all at a good price too! Ham croquetas and a big boy burger for me please!!!

We went to eat this week, a group of 11 people on a business trip. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff were exceptional. Additionally, we were able to stay until past 10 in the evening.

Went with my family for a birthday meal, the food was great and so was the service.
Had the mackerel starter. Was cooked to perfection. Came with slivers of fresh apple and a smoked mackerel rillette. However. The dessert was stand out amazing. The team are so friendly and inviting. Drinks and food are excellent. I often call in with my dog, he is given a bowl of water and treats. Great pub! Great Team!
Five stars all the way! The food on New Years Eve was outstanding absolutely lovely. Service with a smile and very efficient. If I lived closer it would be a regular for me.

Visiting for the weekend, we had a look at the menu online so we decided to try it. Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble, the food was amazing, there wasn't anything we didn't enjoy, fantastic quality for the price. It was clean and a good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend😊
