Visited this place for some lunch, quirky decor and very friendly people. I chose a sandwich that wasn’t on the menu and they were more than happy to make something for me. Great food, great coffee and great service, couldn’t ask for much more. This is also a great concept of a shop, to have refills for every day items and also make it a coffee and food outlet. Will absolutely return when next in area.
One of my favourite places in Guildford! An integral part of my weekend . . . a stroll into town, with great coffee and delicious cake while I stock up on essentials without the packaging! A really welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone, with fantastic events to attend throughout each month too!
Beautiful quiet little shop we arrived at from London after a struggle of a journey due to train strikes. Truly a gem! Reasonably priced excellent coffee, delicious moist vegan cakes unlike many I've tried before, and lots of zero waste products that are well-priced. Very polite service! If only this was my local cafe.
Genuinely lovely owners and a great place for a quick plant based snack on your lunch break or just when you pop into town.
Where this place shines is in the nature of the shop itself. I encourage you to go in a have a look at how you can refill your cupboards at home, from dried foods to shampoo, bring your own container for truly zero waste.

Guildford’s best independent cafe! Delicious coffee, beautiful selection of cakes and light lunches. Staff are so friendly and great to have a browse of the refill station and eco friend homeware products.
This place deserves nothing less than 5* from anybody who comes here. What they are doing for the community and the planet is worth its weight in gold. Prices on refill products are so reasonable, you’d save money coming here vs a supermarket, and you’d be doing your bit for the planet in the process, can’t put a price on that. The lunches and drinks they serve are also delicious, vegan, healthy, good range of things to order. Plus it is well managed, there’s always enough staff around to help you out, who are also really friendly, I love the vibe and atmosphere here as well. Can’t express enough gratitude for the amazing work you are doing. I would recommend every single person to make more of an effort to go Zero waste, thanks to these sorts of places finally giving us the accessibility to do so. A great way to wind down in Guildford after driving two and a half hours to drop my sister back at uni, and the best hot chocolate I have ever had! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and there's a calendar of events that sound awesome on the wall
The first in Guildford, this Zero Waste Cafe and Refill Centre, is owned by two lovely sisters and their charming friend offering a friendly, environment in which to relax over a tasteful cup of coffee while appreciating a substantial supply of foods and housekeeping product refills for your used jars, bottles and containers.
