Unable to book a room as fully booked but good reports from those who stayed. Had a great time, service was great, very busy but the staff was very attentive. Beautiful garden area, dart board and pool table available. Will be visiting again when in the area.
Great room with really comfy bed, best sleep I've had in ages. Nice friendly pub with really outgoing and accommodating staff. Good value for money.
This is friendly little pub with no frills but a great garden to watch a match or have a drink. It is also super kid friendly for families. The food was limited to burgers mainly, but the ingredients were locally sourced from the village butcher and tasted really good. They. Also have a pool table and darts inside for a bit of old fashioned fun.
Great room - spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. Warm welcome from the friendly landlady when checking in too. Free WiFi.
I'll start with a huge thank you to the staff, lovely people and very accommodating, room was very cosy and clean, home away from home.
The food was excellent, very friendly locals, made to feel very welcome, Monkey, was great chatting with you. All in all my 2 night stay was perfect, if ever I'm back that way I know where ill be stopping. πππππ

An absolutely fantastic British pub! The rooms are clean and beds comfy, great food also! The staff are fab even to us northerners! One of the Best pub/b&b ive been in! Highly recommended ππΌππΌππΌππΌ

Arrived at The Wheatsheaf with a wonderful, warm welcome. Lovely location, lovely staff and lovely accommodation. Needed to stay an extra night and that was sorted out very efficiently.
The room I was given was very cosy with everything I needed at hand and if I needed anything else I was made very aware of only needing to ask.
Thank you, The Wheatsheaf, for a wonderful stay and I will definitely look forward to next time!
Great place. Really friendly barman (landlord?), good range of beers and soft drinks plus my team won in the football!
Great banter with a supporter of our opponents and a supporter of our arch rivals who just happened to be at the bar.
Menu looked nice but didn't try the food. Loos were clean and there is some parking although not a huge amount. There are plenty of spots nearby if needed.
Can't fault the place! Lovely old pub, good music good atmosphere. rooms clean and modern. Staff excellent, warm and welcoming! Love the beer garden! More places like this should exist <3
