I recently dined at Zaitouna, a Lebanese restaurant known for its delicious meat selections. The meza was outstanding - a perfect start to the meal. The mixed grill for two was generous and came with a variety of meats that were all cooked to perfection, each with its own unique flavor.
The service was exceptional - the staff was polite and attentive throughout the meal, making sure that we had everything we needed.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and cultural, with traditional Lebanese decor and music that added to the overall dining experience. I would highly recommend Zaitouna to anyone looking for a great Lebanese restaurant that serves delicious food with an authentic taste and great customer service.
Been here multiple times and our experience with both food and customer service just keeps getting better with every visit.
The Hommos and Baba Ghanoush were delightfully fresh & tasted delicious with a creamy texture and their Falafel is always freshly made and served piping hot to your table.
Staff is super friendly, courteous and always welcoming guests with a smile making this place top of our favs list every time we are in Guildford and is a must visit restaurant if you fancy Lebanese.
i’m trying to find words to briefly put this but it was just magical. you can tell the food and drinks are made with love. every single thing i drank and ate was delicious. the service was immaculate. everyone in there, staff and customers, had smiles on their faces. i ate there once and it was so incredible that i came back the next day. the only way to describe it all was that it was made with love. places like this are why i adore middle eastern food. i dined with comfort and joy.
My female friend recommended this place. We were met by friendly manager and decided to sit outside (it’s on a busy road, but we didn’t mind at all).
I ve ordered moussaka lamb, salad and mint tea.
Lamb was very tender and cooked with aubergines and tomatoes, with rice on the side.
It was delicious.
Salad was good also.
Tea had peppermint teabag and real mint in it.
Prices competitive for the area.

A very nice Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Guildford. Very authentic cuisine and high quality. Best I've had outside of London.
Their little mezze is great with classics like Humus and tabbouleh but also less well known batata.
I had the mix grill. Nice generous portion. 3 skewers of meat. shish Tawook chicken, shish kebab beef and shish lahme lamb. Served with rice.
My partner had the shawarma chicken also very generous.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall a great choice for Guildford
Great food, I ordered a mixed shawarma plate. The meat was tender and juicy. Rice was aromatic and the sauces complimented my meal so well. I highly recommend the falafel to share if you come with your friends and family.
Most importantly, the customer service is exceptional. The staff are so friendly and chatty. It made the meal so much nicer!
Always a pleasure the choice of having a lunch here. Staff very cordial and fast service, food simple and delicious. It's the perfect combination between quality and a fast pace environment. Had given extra bread with my hoummus just because the owner saw my ran out before my starter did, so what can I say: attention to detail included with everything else. Thank you very guys !
The food was amazing, freshly cooked and presented well, the salad was fresh and so was the naan bread.
Couldn’t resist seeing a Lebanese restaurant without trying there shawerma and I can say it was the best decision! Authentic fresh flavor and amazing customer service!
Highly recommended
Lovely place, in the heart of Guildford, best shwarma I've had outside of the middle East. Owners are lovely and personable. Highly recommend to have lunch outside here in the summer.
