Our go-to fish and chip shop in Guildford! It’s really tasty, particularly the battered sausages. Good curry sauce too. There’s the odd time that the chips might have too much salt on, but generally it’s a great place to get fish and chips from.

The Riverside Fish Bar serves up the best fish and chips in Guildford. Anthony and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Portions are very good, food is always piping hot and freshly cooked. The menu is extensive. Also the burgers excellent. Covid regulations are implemented and enforced.
First time ordering…Ordered chips and rolls and spam fritter.. it was amazing the rolls were a lot bigger than I expected and the chips were good and fresh which I was a bit shocked as the restaurant had just opened so was frightened of reheated chips from lunch but no they where fresh and hot.. was
Work was getting tough and we ordered this as a nice mid week pick me up. We ordered curry sauce but they didn’t have any, but the guy rang us and said he’d give us as much as he could and an extra sausage! It arrives 80% full (much bigger than typical curry sauce) and with extra sausage!

Recently there was a long queue from understaffing but usually it's hot, fresh food and quick service. I'd highly suggest their seafood basket!
