Absolutely fantastic!
We came for the curry evening which is held every Tuesday. £12 for a curry, rice or naan and drink (soft drink, wine or beer).
It’s amazingly good value for money and we really enjoyed the food. Particular highlights were the lamb saag, lamb vindaloo, chicken bhuna and chicken korma. The soft buttered naans were amazing too and seemed like they had come straight out of a tandoor. Just fantastic!
Kapilla who served us is lovely and one of the sweetest, hardworking ladies you’ll ever meet. Thank you to Kapilla and all of the team for a lovely evening, we will be back for sure 🙏
The food here is fantastic, tried a few different curries. Those who say the delivery was cold, this happens everywhere depending on distance.
If you eat in or live close by, the food is always hot and 10/10.
Genuinely brilliant food. So good it's ruined all other local Indian takeaways for me. Service is also top notch, always very friendly. Highly recommend to all.
I've been going to the Anaj for years and the curry is consisitently amazing every single time. The staff are very friendly and the service time is really quick.
Come in every week on Tuesday for the £12 deal with the pint. I love it every time, The staff are some of the nicest people out there. Would always recommend.

Highly recommended. Beautiful presentation, lovely taste and friendly service by kitchen Staff. We have ordered Veg. Biryani and Sweet & Sour Veggies(Dhansak) with rice. I don’t think I have had this delicious Indian food anywhere else in Guildford.
It is inside the Astolat Pub, won’t see any signs until you go in & see the name written on a chalkboard by a register near a pool table. It threw me off 1st time, so want to let people know. They have meal deals every Tuesday, & the food is tasty.

Great Indian food, pity it isn't more popular. Best in Guildford by far. Authentic, and they don't hold back on the spiciness.
