Such an improvement! I havnt been in a couple months but came in for a quick pint and will definitely be back. Sue and Emma were really friendly and made me feel really comfortable and was nice to not feel surrounded by chaos after a long work day. I would definitely recommend!!
Excellent quiz night every Sunday! Super food! Nice rear outdoor terrace, free live music most Fridays and friendly staff! Dog and child friendly. Burger and beer deals plus buy one get one free Thursdays.

Great pub! My new local 😊 so much of an improvement since the owners took it over! Very friendly staff; family atmosphere; pool table..darts.. funky vibes on Saturdays..pre-drinking place to go b4 heading to 33hz nightclub up the road!
Friendly staff & patrons. Good atmosphere, hadn't been here since it was Powerhouse. Only downside is it could do with a few more local/independent beers on tap.
The Canon just been refurbished, previously called the Keystone. Has a good vibe to the place which has a soul and funk night on Saturday evenings. Also has a Stand Up Mike Comedy night on Thursdays. Has outdoor seating at the back which is lovely when the weather is nice. Well worth a visit.
I really like this place, nice food, good selection of beers and friendly bar staff. If you eat there I would recommend the pulled pork, I was speaking to the barman who said they cook it for 10 hours. Definitely worth the time they put into it!

Nice place. Relaxing. Good beers and excellent pies. In fact I have been there on a Thursday (it's the pie night... You get two for ten pounds)
