We travelled down to see my son and his girlfriend for the weekend in Guildford and had a gorgeous dinner in the sunshine at this lovely riverside pub. We loved the location, right on the water, and there was loads of choice on the menu for veggies and vegans too, which is not always the case. The burgers are insanely good and the cocktails are fab. A lovely warm and friendly welcome from the staff too. Highly recommend.

On visit to UK dropped in here {the old Jolly Farmer) to meet friends. I've been using the pub for 50 years and it felt very familiar. Food very good and reasonable range of beers. Location is amazing and with good weather you can enjoy the beer terraces overlooking the River Wey. My only comment is table service could be extended to more of the terrace tables. Nonetheless I will revisit on return to UK. Recommended

Great place by the river to spend an afternoon. Food was fabulous staff were friendly and helpful. After our meals we sat in the decking area with a lovely warm fire as it was a bit nippy We all thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We recently celebrated our Engagement at The Weyside. We booked the outdoor space by the river (the Boathouse) & the indoor space (the Barn) for the evening. Both areas had ample space- we were approx. 50 guests overall. We had pre-ordered welcome drinks for outside, ready upon arrival of guests & sharing platters for the evening, which were set up buffet style for us- a mix of the Burgers, Brioche Buns & Seafood platters, with fries. The food was brilliant quality & had great feedback from our guests, who enjoyed the spread. The staff were friendly & accommodating. I had initial contact with Celine who was a great help with the booking process, followed by Emily who helped finalise the last touches and was available on the day of the event for any further help we needed, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Overall a lovely atmosphere & great views. Thank you to all involved.

Gorgeous lunch by the river with very friendly staff and excellent service. The food was delicious although the menu could benefit from more lighter lunch options. Overall, a fabulous place to visit and close to the centre of Guildford.

Very nice place with closed veranda. Food was pretty good (fish and chips are superb), summer cocktails were a bit weak to my taste. But espresso rumtini did not disappoint, as well as toffee pudding. The staff was friendly.

It started off well it was a nice day it was the first time that we had visited Guildford with my family and I as I have been working most of my life in hotels and restaurants around the world, we first arrived at the The Weyside pub we met the guy on reception who was very kind and told us that the pub was dog friendly as we had our dog with us he continued to say you may sit anywhere as long as the tables aren't reserved so we looked around we found two tables towards the far left facing the river that had no reservation signs on them unlike the two big tables under the shelter that were reserved for a person called sally at 3:30, we had been there for two hours drinking and enjoying the pub as well as two lady's were sat on the table next to us also having a good time then the group of people came then Karen showed up and rudely told us "you need to move!" with a sour face, I said where is the reservation note she replied rudely there are other tables you can move to and I said I'll finish my pint thank you and she said you need to move right now. I have never felt more embarrassed Infront of the large group of people, this person clearly has no social skills and this person should not be working in this position I believe she is management she totally ruined my family's outing and I shall never return to this pub again is a shame because everybody else acted professionally but her, also when we said we'll finish in five minutes she said she will be back in five minutes to check on us as well as the small table next to us with the two young lady's sitting next to us due to your incompetence you have ruined our day many thanks.

I come across Weybridge instagram page and it’s been on my list to try for months! My husband and I finally got child free time (winning!) and had a lovely Sunday roast next to the river. The food was delicious and was a very chilled afternoon. The staff are very polite and friendly. We Would definitely recommend and come back again. Thank you ☺️

Fantastic setting and great food. Very easy to get to and one can always parked their car in Millbrook carpark. The Yorkshire putting is a gem. Service is superb. Pricing is reasonable. Cannot ask for more. Definitely will come back.

Lovely afternoon lunch. Portions were a bit small for the price but, the quality matched. Located directly on the water which was beautiful. Outside space has fire pits and plenty of umbrellas.

We called in for a swift drink and bite to eat at the Weyside Inn after an evening at G Live. Delightfully set next to the River Wey, this pub and restaurant has a choice of seating: waterside, or within the characterful building. We were served by the efficient and effervescent Holly, who gave us her time and imparted her obvious knowledge on the choices of gin and ale, as well as the choices on the menu when it was time to order food (of which we ordered simple dishes but were excellent). The pub's ambience and cheerful and attentive staff, plus of course the excellent meals we consumed, would all encourage us to make this our licensed premises of choice when visiting Guildford. Thank you.

Lovely food and great service with a smile! I would have marked 5 stars but there is zero parking and the local carpark was so busy we had to park in the town centre and walk in, meaning we were 20 minutes late for our table. The atmosphere was nice, laid back and we didn't feel rushed, even though we were late!

We held a reception drinks for out of town guests prior to our wedding at the Weyside last week. The staff were excellent - super supportive in set up and organizing, preordering was easy and the food/drinks were great! The private room was cute and right off the main bar - we had such a great evening!
