Lovely cafe, tasty food in good portions (I had a sausage roll that was massive!) and very reasonably priced. We didn't get any cake, but they have a really good selection and looked tasty.

I hired Seasons as a venue for a University of Surrey society event. The service we were after was a lovely three-course meal, lovely silverware and tableware, a dancefloor, music, and a bar. Seasons exceeded expectations and delivered a truly first-class service.
Our journey from event formulation, to finalising the event details, was pain-free and incredibly accommodating. Even with last-minute and frequent changes / questions, we were always met with kindness, understanding, and flexibility.
The experience on the day was excellent and we were really taken care of. All staff members were polite, helpful, and a real pleasure to interact with. The food was spectacular and incredibly cost-effective considering the high quality.
If your event will require loud music, you may very well need to produce your own speaker / DJ system, but this is hardly a concern with preparation.
Overall, I would highly recommend Seasons to host further events, and I will certainly jump at the chance of hiring them again in the future.

We ran the Guildford Baseball Club awards dinner here, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Lovely staff who worked with us to make the event a success, excellent food, brilliant waiting staff on the night. A lovely venue and we will be back!
Located adjacent to Guilford Cathedral it's a nice place for a coffee. It makes a good meeting spot if viewing the Cathedral. It also is available for private functions and is popular with students from the nearby university or hospital staff from the Royal Surrey.

The surroundings are pleasant, next to the cathedral. The drink was suitably hot. The sandwiches were common fare, but the lemon curd cake was very delicious.

Our university society held a ball at Seasons Cafe and Restaurant. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their evening with a great atmosphere and delicious food. A few points to highlight:
- Good communication throughout planning period.
- Answered all our questions in a timely manner.
- Nothing was ever an issue.
- Very flexible with dietary requirements.
- Incredible service and very attentive on the day.
- Beautiful view from the cathedral.
Overall very happy with how our event ran, thank you all!
Very convenient place to meet colleagues, friends etc. Parking is free limited and you risk getting a ticket if you overstay.
But don't let this very minor hassle put you off. It means there is parking for you instead of being overrun with students from adjacent Surrey Uni.
Food is good. Coffee great.
Whilst there, take a tour of the cathedral. Will only take a few minutes and it is beautiful...

Excellent coffee shop by Guildford cathedral. The cathedral itself is stunning, an oasis of calm and peace in a grandiose setting. Although built in the 20th century nobody makes buildings like this any more and you will never see the like. Don't miss it.
Having held my 40th birthday at Seasons @ Guildford Cathedral on 15 October, I have to say that the staff and venue are excellent.
From my initial meeting of the team, I was made to feel that the evening was in extremely capable hands. They even tolerated my band playing a quick set for our guests before being shown up by the band that performed after.
Sadly, after a significant number of shots, I became that guy that every one dreads. However, I have heard that the staff were excellent and dealt with my drunkenness and the subsequent illness - something with which they should not have had to deal
- with good grace.
The food was excellent, and many of the guests have complemented the quality of the buffet spread. The drinks were also reasonably priced.
If you are looking for a venue to host an event of celebration, I would wholly recommend Seasons @ Guildford Cathedral.
We enjoyed a fantastic evening for our Christmas party. The staff and service were excellent and the food was delicious. The food was fresh, warm, delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back. Thankyou
Thank you so much for my party at Seasons on 2nd July. I had such an amazing time and so did all my guests. All your staff were polite and friendly, and the food was amazing- we are still talking about the arancini balls. It was just a brilliant night. A special thanks to Carla, she was fabulous and very accommodating. We will be recommending Tipsy Pigs to friends and if we have another event we will think of you guys first.
Booked our wedding reception at Guildford Cathedral Seasons Restaurant on 1st October. The food was excellent, the room was decorated beautifully to my instructions, the service was good and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I have had many positive comments from my guests. I have been to a few events at the cathedral and the comments from me are the same - excellent value and food. Special thanks to James and Carla for their help and for being patient with all the emails I bombarded them with!
I shall definitely use the venue for other events in the future if need be.
