What a great find. We'd walked up thro the middle of Guildford & had failed to find a local independent coffee shop & I was beginning to loose heart. However, we kept walking as I was sure there must be a non-chain coffee shop somewhere & I was right. Fabulous sized, proper mugs of coffee, great waffles, free Wi-Fi & friendly staff. What more could we have asked for?

One of the alluring aspects of this place is that it is open before 08:00. The cheese toastie was had the ideal amount of cheese in it.

My mum and I was visiting Guildford this weekend and I was greatly impressed with the service, food and facilities at Esquires Guildford. I was especially impressed with a specific staff member Tara. She clearly goes above and beyond for both the business and customers and is a great asset to their team, and I truly hope i can find someone with her enthusiasm for my coffee shop in Leicester! Well done guys. Keep up the great work.

Only place open early it seems in the town. Good staff, average selection of pastries but overall a fair experience. Good veggie options and alternative milks. Looks a great place to grab a sandwich or jacket potato for lunch.

Nice coffee with DELICIOUS gluten free brownie! Muah! 😘 The cafe maintain social-distancing pretty well. Staffs are nice and friendly. I ordered small americano, it was warm and nice. And gluten free brownie for takeaway, it was awesome, brownie's texture is super chewy and soft, the sweetness is perfect not too sweet. I'm so inlove ❤️

Small and nice coffee shop on the main street. Pleasant service and great breakfast options. We took a flat white and a custard cake and a raisin bread. All deliciously prepared and tasting. I recommend this place if you are in guildford.

Great coffee, good food, just a pity no one proof read the sign before they laminated it 😀

Nice cosy coffee shop. Good selection of cakes. I like Starbucks, Costs and Caffe Nero, but it's even better to be in a more individual coffee shop.

Really hot Americano.. in a proper mug too! Good size, actually bigger than I was expecting. Lovely staff.. Surprised the place wasn't busier to be honest.. Really great for quiet coffee and cake. Only dropped a star due to granola and other cake etc being unlabelled in counter..but minor point really. Will be back definitely!!

Only had a coffee, but a really great tasting one. Free WiFi with quite a few people using and enjoying it. A bit like Friends. Would use again next time I'm passing.

Nice easy spot to pop in. Coffee is fantastic! Staff are up and down as to be expected in these places but they have some really lovely people there. Great place to people watch or come with a book as well as a place to bring friends for a catch up. Cakes sometimes left out a bit long I no longer go for their sweet treats as have been let down a couple times now but the sandwiches are freshly made and come with a salad garnish which adds that extra touch.

Lovely little coffee shop, I didn't eat so can't comment on the food. The coffee was served quickly and not bad value for money. Plenty of people were eating and the food looked excellent. Will return if ever I'm passing.
