Our guinea pigs boarded here for two weeks in the summer...lovely accommodation for them...great price too. Would recommend Elm nursery will definatly use again. My children have been to wonderful parties here too. If you just want a look around the little farm animals and have coffee & cake its a perfect few hours. Farm shop has some yummy bits too .. plus you can pick up lovely plants here. A lovely hidden gem.

We stopped off at Elm Nursery for a drink and a cake. The staff in the tea room are so friendly and make you feel very welcome. we then went into the farm shop and again, they couldn't of been nicer, very helpful. We will definitely be back to visit the children's farm next time

We've seen Elm Nursery transform over recent years and it just keeps getting better! Wonderful friendly staff and a combination of kids entertainment, plant nursery, cafe and farm shop make this a great outing.

We’ve been here quite a few times now and we love it. Our two year old loves feeding the chickens and seeing all the other animals. It’s reasonably priced and we love the sandpit and giant flower pot too. The cafe is great with lots of choices for little people and some amazing chocolate and raspberry brownies.

We all went to elm nursery this morning. We all enjoyed the little farm and the farm shop has a good range of produce and there are lots of plants in the nursery. We didn't try the cafe but it looked nice from the outside. All the staff were very friendly and helpful all in all very worthwhile going too. We will be back soon!.

Great place for toddlers & young children. A friend tipped me off about this place, so paid a visit recently. Had a fantastic couple of hours here; enjoying the mini farm where there was also opportunity to feed some of the animals if you wanted to (feed sold in the farm shop for £1). Under 2's can visit the farm for free, otherwise it's just £1 entry. Paid a visit to the cafe too; great coffee & scrummy sweet treats, savouries & pastries. Already recommended to several friends & planning a return visit in 2017.

Found this place as a last minute alternative and it was such a pleasant surprise. The staff are incredibly friendly and service came with a smile constantly! The food was amazing and was not what we were expecting from a cafe - hot toasties focaccia bread sandwiches were sublime and the coffees were made to perfection; thick, creamy and velvety to taste. If you’re in the area and haven’t been to this cafe, I highly recommend it. To the owner(s) and service team, thank you very much for hosting us 😊

Lovely cafe, farm shop and nursery. The coffee was great, the toasted focaccia sandwich was tasty, and the chocolate brownie was good as well. The service was very friendly and the pricing was very reasonable. Outside there are plenty of wooden picnic tables and the nearby nursery has some great plants and trees that you can purchase and take home. They also have a petting zoo for the kids with a separate entry charge. Well worth the visit if you are in the area.

Came here for Mother's Day breakfast and had a great meal. Small menu, but everything was tasty and decent quality. I had a sausage baguette with added bacon, and was happily surprised that the sausage had chilli in it. My wife had smashed avocado with (albeit slightly overcooked) poached egg and bacon which also had a very nice and garlicky pesto drizzle. Coffee is decent quality, and the staff are all incredibly friendly.

Elm Farm is a lovely place that looked after my 2 Guinea pigs, Oinky and Boinky, when we went on holiday. We returned many times over the years as they took such great care of Oinky and Boinky, and the Elm Farm family grew to remember them both very quickly. At the time of writing, sadly the second of the two Guinea pigs have passed, after living very happy and fulfilling lives, which were helped by the great care of Anna and the team at Elm Farm. On behalf of the whole family, thank you so much to everyone involved in caring for them both over the years. We really appreciate your care and thoughtfulness. We will most certainly miss returning the Guinea pigs to their lovely holiday home. The Cooks

Great little cafe right next to the elm farm with plenty of parking available. Some seating indoors and under cover but plenty of seating outdoors, perfect for a sunny day. Great choice of cakes and food available too.

My wife, little one and I found this gem today! She *loved* her Bacon, Brie and Cranberry focaccia sandwich, and really enjoyed her chai latte. I had the Chicken, Mozzarella and Pesto focaccia and it was delicious; crispy on top and soft in the middle. The service was excellent as well. We had lunch while our little one played in the sandpit and with the toys, so we'll be back!

Oh such a peaceful place when I went. Quiet and away feom traffic noise. The nursery is low on stock but then it is autumn now. Great place to relax, have a coffee and a bite to eat.

Just discovered this little gem today (23/4) whilst visiting the on-site plant nursery. Coffee and “breakfast baguette” (warning - this will fill you up!) we’re fantastic. Great service. We will definitely be back.
