Updated stars because of response from landlady. Be nice if advertising football that they actually have the volume on & not turned down on all the TV's. Said this before but was assured they have the volume on, which they didn't again!

Sunday roast was amazing ...everything you need from a roast..I had Pork with pigs in blankets stuffing Yorkshire pudding veg apple sauce and gravy and it was delicious. The table service was also very good. Really pleasant experience.

A great little pub, with a wide selection of drinks on availablity. Great chatty service, with staff that will engage in conversation with you and have a laugh.
Great location for watching sports events too, with both indoor seating & outdoor seating. Multiple televisions inside and a large projector outside in the beer garden for those all important games!
Couldn't ask for a better local!

What an amazing pub, the service is top class and the staff are so so lovely and friendly. Such a warm and Inviting atmosphere, the food is sensational, the pizza is so tasty and the roasts are to die For! Proper roast like your nan makes! Can’t wait to come back!
Popped in for a quick lunch with colleagues and what a great spot for it.
They have a fabulous menu of quite interesting, gourmet burgers with very unique fillings and everything was cooked incredibly well AND came out quick.
Very reasonably priced and the staff was great.
Will definitely be going back there.
This is by far one of the best pubs in the area, the staff are very welcoming, theres something for everyone on the menu. The Sunday roasts are amazing, I'm a fussy eater and can't fault any of the meals I've had over the past few years, so anyone who's not tried this lovely pub please ignore the negative reviews and find out for yourself! A lot of effort has been put into making this establishment eye pleasing especially the beer garden, outside seating areas with parasols and light / heaters and I real bonus dog friendly as well!. Wishing Julie and the staff all the best for the future.

Enjoyed their Sunday roast today. The braised beef and lamb shank was so delicious....and the gammon on a nearby table looked equally as good. Yorkshire's were big and fluffy.

Service is always friendly and the cellar is well kept.
Music is a tad too loud, though it's a good pub. The best in Burpham / Merrow by far.
What a friendly and delightful pub! Me and a few friends went there Saturday night to watch the boxing and service was amazing (considering it being busy) the staff bought their A game and always came to check if we were okay and if we needed more drinks. Everything lived up to expectations, would definitely recommend 🙂
Throughly enjoyed the live music Saturday night, brilliant atmosphere and superb bar service who informed me of their homemade Sunday roasts. So after a few beers I booked one and what can I say it was absolutely amazing! 5 star reviews all day long for this pub!

WHAT A PUB. Went to the pub with my friends for some light pints, and wasn’t disappointed. A lovely inside decor which has a homely feel, as well as a friendly staff who were very helpful with any questions i had. Would recommend for a summer afternoon if a pub garden is what your looking for!!
